hello Dr., i am from pakistan having low vision problem at the age of 34 years. I cant drive at all in night ,however, can drive daytime with low vision but its also very hard for me to get focused while driving even at daytime. Thanks for your fantastic videos ❤ I’m wondering if these bioptics would be helpful for our daughter who is starting university in a couple of months. I’m thinking it may help her identify signage and even friends from a further distance while navigating the campus. She has ocular cutaneous albinism. I believe her acuity is 20/400 in her lowest eye and 20/240 in the other. (I think that is uncorrected.) We recently moved to Virginia and are looking to find an ophthalmologist for our family. If you don’t have an office or a reference in the Lynchburg area, we are only about one hour from Roanoke and certainly would not mind the drive.

I have a condition that eye physicians are calling AMD, but I've had the condition since I was almost 12 years old, me and another boy were hit by a car, we were on a bicycle. I went into the windsheld backwards headfirst to my shoulders and was thrown or ejected some 48 feet thru the air and landed on concrete slab in front of a residential home, skip some, my left eye was laying on my cheek exposed when the ambulance attendant picked my up onto the stretcher and delivered us to the hospital...the eye was out and exposed for a significant amount of time(1969), and the dr. [resumably cleaned it up and put it back in the socket and reattached the part of the eye lid that had been cut loose from original positioning by glass and other particles. I started wearing glasses when I was 15.4 or so, and the vision field hasn't changed that much I don't think since then, which makes me think it is an injury and will require surgery to repair, or some superfood for the eyes? or glasses to assist me to see. the right eye is effected by the left eye of course.. looking for some glasses now.

I am visually impaired and have very low vision, which significantly impacts my ability to read writings on paper, even with reading glasses. Currently, the only way I can manage to read is by taking pictures of documents with my phone and zooming in on them.
