I feel like this rule could be applied to every Gundam series ever. It reminds me of a skit I saw years ago about Skyrim; bandits watch this lone warrior body slam a dragon and eat it's soul.

@@zakhaevshub4735 I mean considering the Atlas was a prototype, that railgun might’ve not made it to mass production to the wider Federation. Would’ve loved to see railguns involved in some of the Federations ballistic Anti-Ship weapons or even actual naval arsenal.

The use of instrumental music in this anime was annoying as fack

FWIW, the manga was on a break for a while, they have to wait until there's another season's worth of stuff. Plus, they're working on the G-Reco movies and the Hathaway ones, in addition to Witch from Mercury, that's not nothin'.

@@MrGoatFish10 There are actually way more materials from manga to do at least 2 seasons already. The manga has released new chapter for awhile and Io has already moved from Altas Gundam to a new MS.
just don't understand why people keep saying the manga is on hiatus.
The manga is actually super far ahead in the story now. I believe the latest is volume 18

For spacenoids they were pretty good at designing terrestrial based MS.

Bruh idk why everyone IK dislikes the railgun. Why are people so into beam weapons? It's done to death. This railgun is epic! They better have more stuff like this. After watching the freedom and strike freedom in seed/destiny, beams are just overused at this point.

Zeon focused alot of its resources on its pilots and mobile suits while the federation didn't focus as much on their mobile suit development

Yea, kinda brutal considering the pressure and negative temperature. Even worse tho has gotta be the guy in the mobile armor that got depressurized, considering they didn't hit the cockpit directly.

Yupp, every 20 minutes zeon looks OP in the battle. The federation will only have 5 minutes or less to be looked so OP in the battle

Ever notice how, for the longest time lately, Zeon just shit-wrecks the Federation in nearly every fight? Somehow, they lost the war, but it's always because the Federation coughs up an ace with a Gundam, not because GMs seem to do anything other than get punked by Z'Goks ang Goggs because for some reason the guys from space are better at amphibious combat in a variety of Earth biomes.
Ah man I was looking for the part when the mobile armor just... implodes into a singularity in the abyss, but it got cropped out :(

Why are Zeon mobile suits more well-designed when it comes to environmental combat, especially when compared to their ESDF counterparts?
Because they're.
Zeon do a lot of specific build for each environment. This makes their MS very good at each situation.
The thing is, doing TOO much specific build means that Zeon lost a lot of money on development, and end up with lesser money to actually make an army of MS.
Zeon is more specialized, yes. But each type of MS team end up being super thin because Zeon kept changing their development process to a new MS.

Bandai would be making big money if they just made MG kits for some of the mobile suits here.
Those non-Gundam seem to be made out of tinfoil just about everything and make some explode. While the enemy mobile suits seem to be almost impervious, until the main character comes.
Here's multiple reasons 1: the federations pilots are inferior the zeons pilots 2. The federation was using makeshift aqua mobile suits while zeon used mobile suits made for water combat . 3 the federation got surprised attack from multiple angles 4. Plot armor

Ok...just gonna say this. It made ZERO sense for the ship to launch individual pods to run on the water if all the suits inside were just going to dive in anyway. They could have just stayed on the shiop and jumped off fromt here.
Sometimes troop deployment decisions in Gundam make ZERO sense and defy logic. lol
It was to save propellant, but yeah tactically if they had been targeted they could have been wiped out easily, deploying from the air also has their disadvantages, it creates a lot of sound and the radar can pick up, then you can barrage the place and hit the ship, that is also why they did not do it and deploy far from the Ship, the logic ones are the Zeon side, deploy from a submarine, that helped them get an ambush. but yeah many flaws BUT, just enjoy the pew pew. though gundam series were acclaimed by their realism, giving them the title of Real Robots, or at least helping this genre to be born.
I mean, there could be a few reason. The main one I would assume is that they're entering between iceberg, so smaller landing craft give them better maneuverbility while also allowing them to move between iceberg and bellow radar range. It also could have to do with weather, since most mobile suir can fly/hover to a limited extend but it doesn't mean they have free maneuverbility, they could have opt for landing craft to prevent the advert effect of the snowstorm. Could also have just been combat doctrine, sometimes you wanna do different opproach for different opperation for very specific reason
The landing crafts like the one shown are usually used in the Gundam universe so the mobile suits can save as much fuel as possible. GMs and Zakus were notorious very having small fuel reserves, which is why you rarely ever saw them using verniers unless they were in zero g environments

Better pilot? In this UC timeline lo it’s the undisputed best pilot. The only reason Daryl can keep up is because the mobile suit is connected to his nervous system.
