Hi JB, that is a beautiful Spyder. I have a 2017 RTL in Asphalt Grey metallic. That is a nice trailer also. I hear those are great trailers that pull great also. Look into the grill guards for the front radiators. Kotts grills from Spyderpops is what I have on mine. I really like how it catches the bugs and debris out front. Ryde safe and God Bless Artie
I really do like the trailer and it does pull well. I thought I was really lucky to find it used at a reasonable price. I'll check into the grills. Thanks for the comments.
Nice trailer. When I load mine on a trailer, I raise the trailer at the ball while it's still on the ball and crank the wheel on the ground until it raises the front of the trailer. It gives you more clearance on the ramp.
Good job very nice setup beautiful bike hope you get out for a ride . My bikes have been away for about three weeks now to cold for this old guy and we have used road salt three or four times won’t drive after they use that. Thanks for sharing take care
Thanks. We still had some days in the 70’s last week. Going to Destin, Florida this week. Hope to get some great video. Should get it posted in a couple weeks.
That's a beautiful bike, love the color. I've been thinking of buying one but I really like the older models. I think they look cooler than the 2024's.
More advice from someone who specializes. Your method is fine and the trailer is perfect. Best way to lock down a spyder is to simplygo from the lower a-arm straight forward each side and straight back from the same a-arm no need to attach to the rear wheel. The key here is the trike can move up and down freely but the tension on the straps remains constant. Also velcro is great wd-40 is poison never use wd-40 on anything. I learned this spending 10 years as a garage door tech removing wg-40 from door openers 😢
I would get soft straps for all tires. Because the other ones. When you pull them off they will scratch the clear coating of your rims. Love your videos Please tell us how do you feel riding on curved roads
Thanks for your suggestion on using soft straps and your compliment. I’m good on curved roads. Now that the weather has improved I’ll get a video out on that. Thanks again.
@@JoesRandomReviews101 I’m away from home for a few days so I can’t measure now. It’s only about 65” between the wheel wells. Have to be very careful loading. Length has to be about 12 feet. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy your Spyder.
Thank you for letting me know you subscribed. Unfortunately, I don't usually know who does. I just subscribed to your channel and look forward to watching.
That front securing method is not secure at all. Works great side to side, but if one side of the trailer goes up suddenly, there is nothing preventing the bike from flipping over. A lightly tightened strap to each front wheel secured on the same side will fix that. There is simply not enough vertical gains on the straps to hold it down.
@@MikeOBryan-r4u ordered Amazon- Rhino USA Soft Loop Motorcycle Tie-Downs, 4 pack, 1.7” x 17”. Had to tie two together to reach across under the front of the Spyder.
It's a 2015. I agree that slide out ramp would be nice. I bought this trailer used at a good price and it is versatile as it can be loaded from the sides with atv's. But, it would be much quicker loading and unloading with a full ramp.
Thanks, great instructions!
Well done..😊
Thanks
Stay with it young fella 👨🏻🦳🇨🇦
Nicely done!
Thanks
Nice setup.
great video tks for sharing your tips ..and you do have a nice bike ...love your trailer
Thanks. The trailer has really been handy.
Great video!!! Taught me something, thank you.

Thanks for the idea.
I do the same and put a 2x4 under the ramp gate
Thanks JB, good trailer set up.

Of course my view is a little skewed but, I agree. I think it’s because of the chrome.
I have a can am spyder rt limited. I love it. It rides smoothly.
you can use trailer tongue jack to help angle the trailer for help in unloading and loading
Nice color. 😊

May I make a suggestion. Slingmod makes a $60 nose skid plate for the front of your bike
Great video, we have lots in common, I have a 2021 Canam RT. What is the deck size of the Trailer. Cheers Joe 😊

Where did you get the soft straps and how long are they?
