    In this video, I explain the mechanics of L-sit pull ups vs. regular pull ups, provide some tips on how to properly warm up beforehand, then proceed to show detailed progressions for them. So, all in all, this my official L-sit pull ups tutorial.
    L-Sit pull ups are a stricter, more difficult variation of pull ups that increase torque at the shoulders and require signifiant strength in the abdominals and hip flexors to hold your legs straight out in front of you throughout the movement. L-sit pull ups are used in an array of different movements in gymnastics and calisthenics, ranging from pull overs to strict muscle ups and more.
    I hope the detailed progressions, explanation of benefits and muscles worked from L-sit pull ups all help you in your journey achieving this exercise. Don’t forget to drop a like and subscribe if you’re new and want to learn more!

      @KhalidFawzy ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rasheemthebestfirstone3274 Yes, just do the following foot stretch:
      1. Sit down.
      2. Place the foot on the opposite thigh.
      3. Now, point your foot as usual, but this time gently push your toes further towards your heel using your opposite hand.
      3. Hold this position for 30 to 60 seconds or until cramp starts, then rest for sometime and repeat.
      Hope this helps.

    I'm moving from regular pull-ups to this exercise. I'll have to start somewhere in the assisted progression. Should I mix in sets of regular pull-ups with the progression, or can I stop doing regular pull-ups while I work on the progression here to eventually do L-sit pull-ups?
    My concern is that in doing the progression I will lose the strength I developed to do regular pull-ups.
