The deck’s engine does what it does perfectly well enough it doesn’t need named support. The pace of the game is too fast for it to be exceptional. Which is crazy to say for a deck that just received support and is not at all remotely slow, but it’s true.
1:21:36 yes sheep doesn't do anything for this deck. You need 2 bodies to make it only to end on 3 bodies with it's effect. If you have access to phantom then there's your 3 bodies right there. It has a niche grind game use that rarely comes up. Sheep is only useful when the monster you're summoning off its effect helps you extend. This deck doesn't supplement that so cut it from your extra already guys

I've been trying the Yubel deck lately in tcg. Some neat synergies that I've tried are a Bystial or a Horus package (since Opening can return Regained or Sarcophagus to hand) or Lord of the heavenly prison as a free lv10 that sets me Superpoly. Is it optimal? No. Is it fun? Hell yeah.
I played the release event for Infinite Forbidden with Centurion Bystial Boardbreaker undefeated against Yubel, Tenpai and Runick Ice Barriers and Kashtira. I like it alot and I whould Play the Spell that you can seatch with crimson
what makes sacred beasts engine good isn't DBB it's gates and people would still play 3 gates even if DBB isn't in the game cause it's that good playing 2 DBB and 3 gates is fine if you want more space for yubel engine or starters especially in MD cause you want an answer to maxx c but you also want to maximize the chances of having gates so both arguments are actually valid
About the fusion, the materials are listed in the fusion card like "one yubel monster plus a fiend 0 atk and def monster" those are the material necessary to make the fusion summon even if the card isn't been fusion summoned that is the necessary material that you need, so the card say that it can't be use as a fusion material so that card can't be considered a "yubel monster l" in this scenario, i hope i was clear if i don't i'm sorry cuz English isn't my main language.
About the Chaos Summoning Beast - its not needed now - but with Fiendsmith its full combo so playing like 1+1 beasts and 3 Spells is just good enough; you could play more but you have enough one card starters + dont want to open 2 + need non engine.
