    3:03:11 I feel so bad for my branded brother falling into the MD UI trap... Branded in High Spirits would ask if you want to show the Saronir but before that the Saronir asks if you want to use it's effect to summon. So he basically missclicked and had to discard albaz.

    In game 3 vs mathmech you could have made Barron de fleur. You just needed to pitch veiler with witch instead of poplur and use poplur make linkuriboh and then scale. This give you an additional maaterial to make hiita reborn ash make Barron with witch.

    i think belle in snake eyes FK is only really good when going 1st as it allows you to stop soul release on top of other cards.
    i considered siding out ash when going 1st and putting in belles and keeping ash in when going 2nd

    Glad Josh agrees with me re: Spright Elf in SE.
    Supposedly Dkayed told his fans that it’s the “best way to play the deck” and that everyone is “too tcg brained to realise”, but the card is only useful when you go full-combo uninterrupted, and has 0 good targets to bring back outside of Masquerena (which you rarely need twice, and can resummon with Flamberge if you need) or a maxx c the opponent has used CBTG on (you’re still winning that game without resolving maxx c, and you can’t do so without playing early into talents). Sure, you’ve got flex spots in the ED, but you’re never losing games because Baronne on your full-combo board was targetable, and it’s taking the place of something like Amblowhale which is additional disruption + enables Zealantis lines.

      And not to mention elf kind of implies you'll have more of your board established when you pass turn. When one of the best thing about snake eyes is it's layered interactions and how it doesn't lose to one board breaker

    • @ubz2259
      @ubz2259 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      I dont think you need to play elf but fwiw sounds like you dont understand what it does if you think it is there to revive ip masq.
      Its uses is to give you both ip and baronne from the one card ash combo (revive formula)
      And also gives you ip baronne savage princess from witch ash (normally you miss on one of those)
      But like the one card combo you play into nib super hard going for this line but there is clear reason to play elf. It makes certain end boards a lot stronger

      @@ubz2259the end result is better board but I don’t think it’s worth cause
      -more vulnerable line
      -only comes up 2 card combo uninterrupted
      -regular board is strong enough to most of the time to not die and the followup is superior to every deck so the stronger board is not needed
      -maybe slightly more prone to field board breaker like dark ruler? Not sure on that one
      Basically I don’t think the reward is worth the risk but you are right that the board you get at the end is probably stronger

    • @ct1296
      @ct1296 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ubz2259 there is not a single scenario where you want to play into nib when you already have the setup required for a winning board though.
      There’s a reason why the players who routinely topped with Unchained last format were the ones going for the less crazy board that played through Nib - the goal should always be to build the board that loses to the least cards and still wins you the game, not the board that puts up the most disruptions.

      He explained it in another video, but the gist of it is that it isn't "one card combo bad" and more about what kind of gameplay the decks offer.
      Decks like Mathmech, SHS and Mannadium effectively boil down to "negate turbo" and vomit half your deck onto the field in order to put out enough omnis to ensure the opponent can't play, which is great for the pilot but extremely frustrating and boring for the opponent, and the fact that they can do so off of a single card while also being able to stuff the rest of the deck with non-engine exacerbates the issue.
      Decks like Snake-Eye (and possibly Tearlaments) also offer one-card combos and have tons of space for non-engine, but the difference is on how they interact with the opponent; that is, they aim to create more midrange-y and control-oriented gamestates that don't just say "your opponent can't play the game" while also offering immense flexibility, recursion, grind, and most of all skill expression.

    • @misbahahmed6997
      @misbahahmed6997 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      @@ignithyahomura6488Mathmech isn’t negate turbo unlike the others tho. I saw the video recap of that segment and he says that superfac rips cards and gets negate which makes the end goal of “blank enemy’s cards” the same, and while I see that, there’s something people don’t really realize.
      Superfac doing all of that isn’t a strength but actually a weakness, because a timed interruption on Superfactorial like belle, bystial, crow, called by(spell negate might stop that one) shuts off about half their interaction with 1 card, which you can’t say about the other boards because they spread out their interactions with mannadium even having backrow omni.
      Basically the idea in that discussion was that these decks aim to win the game turn one with insane combo that’s close to an ftk, and although I agree with that about plants, shs, and mannadium, ironically Mathmech, the one he hates the most is the least like that, because you still have a shot of winning after Mathmech resolves combo a decent amount of the time
