    Amazing!!!! I love these types of videos where Leatherman gets a little closer to all of us! I am a great lover of the brand and I will continue testing all your tools on my channel! I think I've now lost count of how many Leatherman's I have 😅😅😅. Without a doubt, the Wave has been an example of evolution and success! Congratulations!!!

    I love Leatherman, the only multitool I carry. I have a lot of different models. The Wave is so creative, it offers something for everyone. If anyone is ever in doubt about what multitool to purchase. The Wave always comes to mind FIRST. You can't go wrong with a Wave. Leatherman is a way of life and a legacy!

    The best brand ever.. I have never really cared or followed any sort of brand like I do Leatherman.. I have around 85 leathermans, and for the last 12 years have never gone a minute without one on my side, and anytime I can’t think of a gift for somebody, I always gift them a Leatherman.. I’ve also met Tim in Australia and his a legend.. Thankyou

    I still have, and carry only on special occasions, my original PST that I purchased in 1985. I did have to replace the sheath, but the tool is still in great condition. This is why I have 17 other models of Leatherman, and 24 in total. Thanks for all the wonderful products, and Happy New Year.

      I can't believe I am 43 and just bought my first Leatherman yesterday. I've known about them for years, and even had buddies that carried them in the military, but the idea of pliers in your pocket was never really for me, i actually used to think it kinda ridiculous really. Now I dont know why i never had one to begin with. You know how often I need pliers on a daily basis living on a ranch? WTH was I thinking

    What about Leatherman clones made by : Hangzhou Great Star Industrial Co.,LTD the Swisstech 18 in 1 or the Ozark Multiforce 18 in 1 they seem overall to get it better than Wave for a fraction.
    1 No freaking tamper proof assembly torx. They at least put standard torx. Nobody want them. PUT REGULAR METRIC ALLEN HEADS. Who choose em???
    2 Reversed tooling so if pliers will slip the multitool would not bite the palm in the center.
    3 Less edges and corners in the "scales" shape. More flush shape = acceptable wear and fatigue due intensive bare hand use.
    4 Bit holder: Definitely not a fan of Bit holder on the multitool. I prefer separated ratchet such as Victorinox or VIMtools, perhaps ICON. But assuming a bit holder mounted is a good thing Their bit holder is more normal at least accepting standard ¼hex bits (it could be even better if magnetic).
    5 Carbide plaquettes: you don't have plaquettes on actual professional lineman's pliers or tiny bolt cutters but you have em on a multitool, it is kinda silly and uselessly overbuild IMO. They build simple pliers head without even a stamped marking on one hand or booth.
    6 Price. definitely. How many Wave have been produced and sold in this specific production evolution ...? Scale economy? efficiency in organizing optimizing cycles and refining manufacturing million pieces?
    Just Why initial streetprice for a Wave was around the 50 affordable $s getting a Charge beater and it has more than doubled making a market space for Sidekick Wingman Rev in its initial price range?...
    If you need a beater multitool you will definitely buy those mentioned in first place. paying a fraction and getting a better deal rejecting at the same time all the proprietary things commonly unacceptable in Leatherman marketing production.

  • @canadafree2087
    @canadafree2087 ปีที่แล้ว

    Clearly we have loved the Wave for 25 years, but your Sidekick line is junk, short stubby awkward tools all in an effort to go cheap. Stick to Wave+, Surge, etc. People need full side tools. I loved the squareness of the SuperTool line but the Wave/Charge/Surge is the gold standard. Also, after 25 years please ditch the 420, we are all tired of it and want a steel upgrade as standard. It is sad that when you go up from Charge to Surge you are actually going down on steel.

  • @jeremystubbs4397
    @jeremystubbs4397 ปีที่แล้ว

    The Wave+ really is an awesome multi tool, but you all really need to stop raising the price on these. I've noticed a $10 increase every year for a couple years now. At this rate, in a few years, most people won't be able to justify buying one. Please don't make these prohibitively expensive for the average person.

    You are by far the best muti-tool brand in the world. I love Leatherman I have probably 20 of them, and my original Wave still has a special place in my heart and has been used so much from past occupations and adventures. This has been the catalyst for my other favorites, Wave +, the Charge + TTI and Surge with full bit kits and saw blades and a flashlight. I'm a Realtor, so carrying one on my hip everyday doesn't look right in my market; my solution is to have lots of Leathermans everywhere (cars, desks, bug out bags, get home bags, camping supplies, etc). Maybe it's just an excuse to buy another one. My one feedback is the limited editions are too limited for the huge amount of fans you have. I badly wanted a damascus Charge, even if it wasn't a limited edition, the company would still sell a lot even at a $400+ price point. Please put me on the short list even for the garage releases.
