I just ran across your channel. Those earch anchors are all i use. I use a 2 1/2 in. Auger on a drill to remove them. Just drill down next to it and pulls up easy.
Have used those 'ground anchors' as I call 'em. Got heaps, but I'm old fashioned, and keep falling back to the stakes. You can buy those anchors which are 'recoverable,' I got some, and then converted all of my old style ones to be recoverable as well.....still mostly use stakes though. Yeah....I know. How do you cover your sent? Do you rubb your dogs with the gloves on? Do you you keep the gloves in a tupperware container? The clothe you were kneeling on, What about that? My biggest problem is with coyotes senting. Thanks in advance. Just getting going over here in the US
Hi Kenny, So I try to keep a few different sets of Gloves, The gloves I set my traps with only ever touch the traps and trapping gear, I have a separate set of gloves and gear for re sets, I always lay the ground sheets the same way down and I give it a pressure wash every couple of weeks. They still know we have been there I just try to keep my scent down to a minimum. There smart the Old Wild Dogs hey👍

Goid Question.... There is no best way, it's more about the way that works for you at the time👍 It will always depend on the situation. I'm just trying to learn the most I can, Then I can use what ever set is suitable for the situation. Thank you again for taking the time to comment and watch👍

Lures and baits don't catch critters. Instead of two lure placements you might better place two traps.

Why not take a photo with your phone so that you can re-create the area when the trap has been set? How do you remember the location of your traps?
