7800x3d and 6800. 1440p I get high 70s low 80s with epic textures, low everything else. W/ TSR high. I prefer that over the upscaling. I also get the flicker has to be AMD.
My native 4K epic jumped to over 50 with the new 24.5.1 driver. I have the Asus TUF 7900xtx OC that I have also OC'd with a 7800x3d (stock). I was 43-48 fps native and now 51-56 with the new driver. With FSR and frame gen I'm over 130 fps now. For some reason I can't get FPS average or 1% low to show up on afterburner. I check it off with OSD but it doesn't show up. Everything else does
I'm running an OC Merc 310 7900XTX and a 7800X3D as well. I've been using FSR Quality and Frame Gen with all settings on EPIC and I'm seeing similar results. I have a triple monitor setup but my main middle display that I game on is an LG C2 65" 120hz. The game looks amazing using FSR and AFMF in 4K Epic. I max out my display the entire time I'm playing with no issues. Killer combo.

Great video. You do a really good job explaining everything. I do have one question. I am running a 5900X as well with 4080 and I get a lot of crashes. I am going to try the settings you have shown here, but what would be the best CPU to get for this game to run at its highest performance?
Quality DLSS FG (on) 4K max set running at 120-130 in camp. 4090 13900k, 360mm CPU temp av 62c @20-30% usage 125-140 watts, and gpu avg temp 65 @300-380 watts @98% usage. Air temp in room 65-70F
Yea there's no way lol. No way it's 100% 3D resolution scale everything on EPIC with no DLSS or frame gen. I have a 4090 and have tested the game. Matter of fact heres a side by side clip I did for someone thats unlisted. I was having mini heart attacks every time that black flicker happened, was thinking my GPU is having a seizure just by watching a YT video of this game lol. Personally If I were playing it I'd rather they fix the server issues first and foremost , my friend tells me it's beyond hilarious, the bullets don't even register hits a lot of the time 😅 Aaaanyways that's the ''beauty'' of modern gaming for you, at least we're getting some good laughs and memes out of it hahaha
I agree with the bullets not registering. Shot a guy in the head one time and he didnt drop. Haha. It needs a bit more time this game. Its EA after all but maybe a little too EA.
I saw your other video too. I shit you not, I have Starlink internet and I have to reboot my router every single time I want to play this game. Otherwise it won't allow me to connect to the servers. Gives me an error "Steam Account not Authorized" or something like that. Needless to say I haven't been playing it that much. Great looking game and can be a lot of fun. Just needs some work.
@TerraWare Yeah, some other guy with StarLink was having the same issue. I play Tekken 8 online everyday and I've never had to reboot the router. I tried reinstall, clear cache, and flush dns but reboot router works 100% of the time in Gray Zone. Never happened in any other game. Lol. After seeing your video, I was going to check my FPS when I got home tonight but got hit with the same error. Didn't feel like rebooting, so maybe on my next day off. Super weird.

Crazy to think a not that old 5900x will become a bottleneck even at 4k but it's not the first time I've seen this in recent weeks. I'm now interested to see if this game leans more Nvidia/AMD or AMD/Intel. Without swapping gpu and running ddu (which I can't be bothered 😅) I'm not sure how yo figure that out. I don't think my 7900xtx/7800x3d was showing a bottleneck at 4k. I don't think the 4080/13700k was either. The 7900xtx system definitely had a higher fps with everything turned on but I'm pretty sure that was from FSR3 frame gen giving a higher amount of frames. Again great work, I appreciate the level of detail you go to when explaining performance.
@@Spratty-wb3is I will probably compare the 4090 to the 7900XTX but if the 4090 was getting around 60 at 3440 x 1440 and the 7900XTX around 40 or 50 at 4K I would say AMD does pretty good in this game. Unless I am doing a side by side comparison with the same settings in the same area there's no real way to know exactly

It seems the 4090 was ahead by around 20% which is kinda normal. Uploaded a bit of footage if you're interested heres the link. Probably a 7800X 3D or Intel 14900K but I wouldn't get the 14900K instead wait on Intel's new CPU's coming out soon to see what they're like.

I don't use a special layout. I've just put stats I want to show with group names under the monitoring settings.
