Yup, have been using them this way for some time with all the Epic Spear Doctrines & they are actually insane. They can win almost any 1vs1 & in group fights cycle buffs for team & get flanks with speed or take out enemy support units. Maidens keep getting slept on, they are actually savages.
I played the shield maidens a few times in the tactical battel an d i kinda liked them and while I watch you video i do not understand that you are saying that people are pleying them in an different attack combination that is the only one that makes any send for me at least nad thats how I played them at least
Have u seen Critical 69's videos on these girls? He recommends a mixed line, but I don't know how it will pan out if used in free battles and regular sieges
I haven't seen anyone else make a video of the importance of buffing the shield maidens between fights. Especially the guardian + cover commander combo.

I use them this way. I main poleaxe so when you add weapon dance debuff to the mix...the Reds go down doing even less damage to my ladies.
Looks like a great unit to push up walls for attacking sieges. Just like Stalwarts.

Can someone explain why palace guards is still cost 235 leadership? I'm playing on Lotus Ash server, is there difference on each server's update?
We're on the mygames version in Europe/North America. Slightly different version of the game.
