- Another familiar face crosses paths with our prosecutor once again: none other than Raymond Shields, attorney at law!
It seems he will be facing prosecutor Gambit to defend the co-owner of the Big Bucks Casino from some pretty serious charges. Does uncle Ray really trust this conman, or is he trying to play Gambit's game?
God I love Ray's theme. I can't count the times I've played the melody on my keyboard while arranging Joking Motive, I swear...

For clarification, both Gambit's and Shields' performances at the trial are awful; almost as if they were each trying to intentionally throw the trial 🤔
I really like this story you’re crafting.
Knowing Shields, he probably noticed something Gambit didn't and acted accordingly. From what I've seen of him in AAI2, dude's pretty sharp, and he's okay at reading people too.

If there ever were an Investigations 3, Ray better be in it.
He could, but he needs writers who can actually develop his character/make him more than just "Reminisce on the IS-7 Incident." Ray was handled mostly poorly in GK2, in my opinion.
Sidenote: his "jokes" weren't funny at all. His only real saving graces are his character design and incredible music theme (Brooce's remix, too).

Holy- This is just sheer perfection. I always loved the idea of a defence attorney assisting Edgeworth, and even created my own character to fill in that role, But to see my “Favourite New Character In a AAI game” come back? And this remix is incredible on top of that! It really seems like Ray is getting more and more talented.
And yes. This time I know that this track was originally composed in AAI2 (Sorry, Can’t remember the Japanese name).
Ray’s theme is one of my favorite ace attorney themes ever. Great work!

Nice work as always. I actually think this is better than the original. Hopefully Raymond comes back in another game, preferably a new Investigations game as the investigation games are my favourites.

@@coolmendotdot2 I do this to avoid my channel looking like a roleplay account (This is the actual channel I use), so I keep the image and name of two seperate characters +others I like. I've had other character names and images in the past as i'm limited to two and sometimes change it. It probably does look amusing though.

@@RealGamelito If you gather good players, you can use the mechanics in a variety of ways. I've had both Joint Reasoning and Logic Chess in an AAI Case in AO.

My headcanon: Eddie is just a nickname that everyone (even Miles and Franziska) uses to address Edward.
P.S. Derived from Old English words ead meaning “fortune” and ward meaning “guard”, Edward directly translates to “wealthy guard”. Though Twilight fans may already associate Edward with vampires and werewolves, this name dates back to medieval kings, saints and brave warriors.
*Here’s my idea for the plot of ‘Investigations 3’*:
After the end of “Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit Of Justice” (including ‘Turnabout Time Traveler’), Chief Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth continues having adventures of his own. But Miles soon discovers the cases he solved are masterminded by a powerful criminal organization which plans to conquer and destroy Los Angeles. With Kay Faraday, Dick Gumshoe, Franziska von Karma, Ema Skye, Shi-Long Lang, Edward Fender, Verity Gavèlle, Eustace Winner and Simon Blackquill on his side, will Miles be able to save the city before everything is too late?

I love investigation games first was rough a bit but second is a masterpiece and while Phoenix games split themselves into investigation-Trial-investigation-Trial-NOT GUILTY there it all is less disjointed and I love that
