I tried with 35lb leadcore and really struggled when pulling the loop back. I'm assuming with 45lb would be a lot easier. Was wondering what material were you using to demonstrate the process. Great tutorial thanks for sharing.
Another tip I've found helpful would be once you've formed the splice but before you tighten it, trim the tag end as close as possible to where you just pulled through, now tighten and everything will be smooth and there will be no sign of the splice what so ever. What brand of leadcore is in the video . I’ve found some easier to splice than others due to the tightness of the outer weave 🙂

Thank mate really good video can you use braid and slice that or is it only leadcore
I woz told you can I braid hook link but I try it and it don’t work it keeps comeing out the other side
