Those are 5.5mm pellets but that will be a 5.6mm bore.

Very cool short vid with a good bit of action content. Cracking little rifle, looks like a BSA Pattern S (short version) made around 1920s? In very good condition and working very well indeed. They are very accurate and quite powerful.

I have one of these and like Jerry Miculek says PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. Heavy weight BB's like .28 or .30 work best as their mass will give a better flight and once you learn how the weapon prints then you can make those longer range shots. I have had 60 meter plus hits. One thing though....WHERE WAS YOUR EYE PROTECTION DURING YOUR INTIAL SHOOTING ?

I tried with 35lb leadcore and really struggled when pulling the loop back. I'm assuming with 45lb would be a lot easier. Was wondering what material were you using to demonstrate the process. Great tutorial thanks for sharing.

The design was a Lincoln Jeffries H air rifle to which BSA took over the manufacture in around 1905

Never load a pellet first and then cock the rifle as you are pulling against a vacuum which will cause damage.

Love the Old Air Rifles they have got a Feel to them that the Modern PCP's and such like just don't have!
