IMO, Gear 5 hype is only can be understand to who follow the storyline. If u blindly watch that episode 1070-1071, is weird as f. And IMO every episodes OP rating, half of them maybe is below average, but overall the build up story and character development are very very enough to rise up the Anime. I mean, 1110+ episode and mostly people think, this show is worth to watch.

@@Drusenju That particular opening was also only used for 1 episode as well... the milestone of episode 1000. The first redo of the first opening was, I think the 5 year aniversary, the second actual remix I think was for the 10th... the opening, with the characters all decked out in fancy gear and chasing the gold bug was for the 15th anniversary and to promote the film one piece gold

3d is garbage in terms of important character models imo takes me way out of immersion when I see it. Forgivable in one piece considering its age.
Nah 3d in anime is not for me, I can excuse it in One piece because they rarely use it, and most of it is their ship.
My top 5 favourite 26,25,16,11 then 9 but not too sure what I think Drusenja favourite is because I just started watching your content but I am enjoying it.

which arc are you on? I am in Marineford, starting it, I like the superpowers and the We Are and egghead openings, I also like the last one of the Wano Arc because of how well animated it is

@@Drusenju skypeia is nice, the next arc in the anime is filler but it is fun to watch I wouldn't skip it, the next one after the filler is Long Long Ring Long Land or something like that and it feels like filler but it isn't so you have to watch it all because it is important for the future, after that is the best arc in one piece that gets people hooked, Water 7

@@Drusenjuyes, after Water 7 comes Thriller Bark, for some reason people hate that arc but I really like it, it is very funny and interesting, we also get to meet a lot of new characters there, then comes Sabaody which is actually three arcs in one, Sabaody, Amazon Lilly, and Impel Down (the prison) then after that starts Marineford

No, there is no arc where Sanji is the bad guy. There was a forced separation, of course, Luffy brought him back. Also, Sanji wearing a black suit with glasses in the 1st Wano Kuni opening.

well, you asked which opening was my favorite... mine's OP 6. i thought they were drawn so childish before and back then i was like 'why would anyone watch this piece of crap'. Oh, how wrong i was...
when i reached OP 6 they suddenly looked so mature and acted like they were angry and fighting for something significant, i was like 'wtf happened?! This is not like the previous OP's?!' Thats where i started watching One piece. Then i reached episode 37 (like most people) i got hooked. And i watched it ever since. Im now one of the people waiting every week for the next episode :/

So what i felt was annoying, was how you dismissed the last remake of opening 1, didn't realize it was reanimated, then compliment the next one. It looks like you dismissed it before the scene opened up, cause the whole thing was different besides the 1st 15 seconds. So i feel robbed of your actual opinion of it. btw although I am only in Marineford I spoiled myself on the whole story, my theory is that the one piece is getting to know that the world of one piece is a fictional world that exists in a manga, this is my theory because many times in one piece they refer to the world as a fictional world or atvl least they make the allusion to it, black beard does it everytimes he appears and egghead literally saids the world is made out of imagination, you also have white beard screaming the one piece is real, one big spoiler, white beard and all these guys know what the one piece is but they do nothing with that information
