      Tip: best way to cut butter into flour is with a knife and keep moving the bowl in a circular manner. Also when the butter is a room temperature it's a lot easier.
      Love this channel and I'll definitely try this recipe 😍

      OMG, just took them out of the oven. They are a little over cooked on the outside but not bad. The inside is amaaaazing! Next time I will check them at 15 minutes.
      I put in 2T extra butter and 1 more egg with a T of extra flour and they are freaking Devine! What a great recipe. No one will EVER know they are gluten free!

    Is it weird that I enjoy seeing you struggle and have uncertain moments in the kitchen just like I do😅 because who has time to try out the same recipe over and over to get it perfect? 👍 to "lack of professionalism" and realness 😊

    Just a couple of tips from an old home cook. Freeze your butter and grate it. Then you just stir it into your flour mix. Also, you don’t twist the cutter, because that tends to seal the edges and can hinder the rise. Last, place biscuits touching on baking sheet. This allows the biscuits to rise taller. Thank you for a great video.

    4:09 When I made biscuits back in cookin school, we'd cut the butter with a chefs knife straight out of the freezer. We used ice water instead of cold water, and we'd soak our hands in ice before and during the mixing. The longer the butter stays solid, the flakier the biscuit will be.

    • @ForensicDreamer
      @ForensicDreamer 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Oooh, thanks for the tip.

    • @JubeiKibagamiFez
      @JubeiKibagamiFez 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ForensicDreamer If you have a biscuit wire. How do I describe it? It's got a handle and thin metal arched to each side of the handle. I soak that in ice water and use that to mix the flour and butter, but this is biscuits, so you could actually freeze butter milk cubes before hand and use that in the chilled butter milk when you mix the dough. Golden rule of baking, weigh everything. Accuracy is key.

    Not only do I have CD, I can't eat rice either. So I was tickled to see a good biscuit recipe using the same GF flour I use! If you eat chocolate, on the back of the Hershey's dark cocoa, there is a mean cake recipe that I peeked and tweaked to make the best chocolate cake ever! Topped with cream cheese choc icing. OMG, it is SO good. I had to stop making it; I've been home for almost a year now (C19) and put on 45 pounds. If you are interested, I will share it with you. Let me know. Thanks for entertaining all of us during this challenging time.
