I will watch your video, but in regards to this topic itself, I am quite sick of this conversation I have been having them since my fashion school days 10 years ago Fashion certainly can be a form of art, its an artistic medium sometimes with meaning and storytelling behind it. If not just a skillful showcase. Otherwise, yes in most other cases it is also merely just business in order to dress people and make profit I think its not an over-complicated topic, but people get very heated over it. Especially those in the art communities for some reason lol
Art imitates life, and alot of this is kinda pointless, because most people won't wear it, and most people won't see the pieces, alot of this stuff been done for decades, you can find alot of old Galliano, McQueen, Paco Rabanne, Jean Paul Gaultier, pieces for reasonable prices or good prices, the people make these pieces, time keeps going and use the past to move forward, but it keeps going, reason why the public have fashion fatigue now, people are going back to more individual pieces with things they put together with designers, street clothes, nobody wearing Rick Owens dinosaur shoulder pads on the streets, because it don't seem authentic, nobody wearing Balenciaga motor cycle jackets, they're wearing vintage and new motorcycle jackets with better quality, or Vanson jackets, the public make the trends, some wear hype, while most wear high fashion designers that cost more pertaining quality luxury mix with cheaper clothing
