No question about it, that was an enjoyable visit except leaving one wanting to experience it in person. Nice to see your appreciation for those period exterior touches like the extended taillights and that winged identification lamp towards the front. What an interesting touch that they appeared to use the common nautical navigation lights scheme on that one trailer's front end (bow if you will) you pointed out. Green designates the starboard (right) side of the vessel, red designates the port (left) side. You didn't happen to take a peak at the left side to see if it was red, did you? If not, you'll just have to go back someday to look. I doubt you'd mind that. That one with the period color hues of the day: gold (front sofa) and olive green (tea pot on counter) was a bit of a shock for me. Museum piece so it belongs there but having lived through those years, the visual combo about the living space is best left in the past. Like seeing them side by side on living room furniture in Sears. Thanks for the visit and pointing out all the interesting treatments, engineering, and architecture that was applied to these wonderful trailers. Looking forward to the factory tour in your VIP status posture.

Funny you should mention that, I did! I was thinking they were using green and red to indicate which side, but that wasn't actually the case. That would have been pretty neat if they had though! I'm with you, a few of the designs are best left for museums. 😂

Hey Guys great video ! I guess Airstream loves Flamingos 😂 I’ve always been impressed with the Airstream quality unlike all the other manufacturers.

It's a very rare beast! I think you're going to find some of the next manufacturers a little more disappointing in quality, for sure.

really cool tour; but you said how cheap they were in the 30s compared to our dollars but back then that was a lot money especially in the 30s

I was comparing to inflation and today's current AS prices. Expensive no matter what, for certain!
