I currently use the J36 blades and agree with the feel you mention. I'm not a fan of the buttery feel when it becomes too soft that I can't feel the ball. Great content as usual ^^

Jon, if you get tennis elbow a lot, you may benefit from using finger extensor bands! I used to use them for rock climbing. Gave them to my dad who suffered from tennis elbow and it seemed to relieve some of his pain.

Do you think those clubs are cheaper because you're in Florida? More golfers, more trade-ins? It seems the PGA store in Columbus, Ohio never has clubs at those prices. Just a thought

I have always played Ping. Prices today for drivers are very expensive. I always buy year old clubs and keep them for ever.

Hey Jon, have you tried scraping for the tennis elbow? It's the only thing I've tried that's helped. Just a few minutes with a $15 scraping tool, a few times a week and it mostly sorts it out.
It can manifest from the shoulder. Low carb diet to reduce the inflammation. Stretching your wrist both ways. Hang for 2 min every day and use light resistance bands. Had to fix myself after a bjj injury.
Btw, paradym Ai brand new is $50 less a club than paradym. They went down in price. The paradym's were probably a playability, and the ai's were actually traded in. That's why there are price discrepancies. One could have been traded in with trade in pricing, and the other could be a return within the 90 playability guarantee. PGATSS can't sell them as brand new, so they discount them from the original price, but it will be much higher than standard pre-owned. Just fyi.

Yes, yes yes....do it, new stuff reviews please. I'm leaving the house in 5 minutes to go have a fitting/test on the new Taylormade burner mini driver released yesterday. Almost as excited as Jon when he finds some rusty old driver that was only found on some obscure TV promotion 😅😅.
Want a zx 7 driver if you find one plz, got to be in excellent condition though.

What is your opinion on 3d printed clubs?
My best round came at my wife's company golf outing. I was using my Nike Slingshot irons for the first time at the course. I ended up shooting a 5 under 67, came in tied for first...but actually ended up in 3 rd...as the course Pro went hole by hole and there was a hole I parked and the other two made a birdie! I gladly took home a $200 GC. Also hit the longest, straightest drive, somehow, I hit my drive right down the middle of the fairway, and it went 327 yards! I was hitting the square Nike Driver that had my ears ringing for at least an hour!
The food was great....grilled rib eye steaks, baked potatoes, veggies, and more desserts than one could imagine! And yeah....still have my irons, but donated the Nike driver to Goodwill! I'd rather hit my 1960's MacGregor Eye-O-Matic Persimmon Driver!
I found a set of the Stixon 765 with Kenitic shafts for $240!!!
The paradyms are fully forged unlike the Ai Smokes. There's your reason for the price difference.

I still game a RAC TP 52* that I bought for $17 over a decade ago.
Dang those AP1s are a full $100 cheaper than what I paid for mine crazy deals there.
Maybe talk to a local golf shop and see if they will let you demo stuff. My local golf shop let's me demo anything for 50 bucks a week. I've done drivers/sets/putters. So I'm sure you could find a shop that would do the same.
I would’ve passed on the older iron sets and picked up the smoke irons.

I played Mizuno MP 33 Irons for 5 years never should have sold them to a friend have looked forever to find some more.

I don’t even understand the longer yardage deal these days. People get all worked up about hitting a 7 iron 200 yards, but in reality you’re not hitting a 7 iron. You’re hitting a 5 iron that’s stamped with a 7 on it. Forget the number on the club, look at the loft. Whatever club has a 34-35 degree loft is your true 7 iron imo. These companies are just chasing distance, which I understand, but unless that 28 degree 7 iron is launching and descending at the same angle of a true 34-35 degree 7 iron, I just don’t understand the point. Maybe they are, and I gotta just see the data.
I’ve updated everything in my bag as I just got back out there after a solid 10 years of not playing because I was busy with my two kids. But now they are older and I have more time, plus my 10 year old is interested in the game, so it makes it easier. Anyway I’m still rocking a set of TaylorMade RAC Irons from 20 years ago. I personally love them cause I know what I’m getting from each club. I know my 7 iron is a true 7 that I can hit 165 all day. I’ll definitely move into a new iron set, but I gotta find what works best for me. I know im not hitting some super advanced iron like the pros are using, but I also dont think the ai smoke type club is what I need either. Would really like a set that’s a bit forgiving, but also has a more true lofted set to what im used too. A 28 degree 7 iron is just crazy to me. Maybe I can compromise with like a 32 or something, if they even exist today.

I believe the price difference is due to the fact that the Paradym’s are Forged and the AI Smokes aren’t. Just a guess though
