No, Personality test can be attended in any of the 22 official languages of India. You can attend in either English or Tamil. If you are attending in Tamil, there will be a translator.
They will ask in English. But if you want to answer in Tamil, UPSC will provide a translator, who will translate the Board's questions to candidate and vice versa.
