Hi! Can it do 100 on one port and the rest(40+) on the other? Or it can only charge 65+65 when charging near the limit?
    Thank you

I would say that suction collar is to keep the charger from falling out of those crappy American sockets.

Do you notice a charging speed difference based on the quality of USB-C cable used? Anker has their own cables and I’ve wondered if they’re worth the price

Yes, one low-quality cable I used wouldn't even change for that long before disconnecting. I do have some high-quality ones that work though.

i'm ordering this thing and found a 3-pack of anker cables (333 series) 3ft, 6ft, and 10ft in length rated for 100W speeds, for around 25$ before tax. Since the maximum for a single port is 100W anyway, i figured i wouldn't need the more expensive cables

Note that the Anker 747 has issues charging many Lenovo laptops such as Lenovo Yoga 9i and Slim Pro. I have 6 chargers which are able to charge at 100 watts or more but the Anker 747 is only able to charge up to 13 watts on my Lenovo 9i whereas the rest can charge up to 90+ watts. Apparently there are some compatibility issues between Anker and some Lenovo laptops. These incompatibility issues are also mentioned in reddit by Anker users

Coconut Battery (free) will work great for measuring the power going into the MacBook and its overall battery health and charge rate.

Can't believe someone would go to all the work to make a charger video and not have a usb wattage meter to prove the results. I purchased the 120w model, 737 and it doesn't put out over 85w when having all 3 ports charging. The usb-a port doesn't put out more than 13w no matter what device I plug into it. I test with MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and iPhone 14 pro max. The 737 is a piece of garbage and I sent it back. I assume this one is as bad. Called Anker and they said you can get the 22.5w that is advertised for the usb-a port when you are charging a Huawei phone, which is not allowed to be sold in the USA. What a joke.

This video is useless without using a simple inline USB power meter to measure actual charging wattage. Fail.

The Macbook can tell you the exact wattage, only if this noob knew where to go in the power settings.
