    I don't understand why you didn't say what kind of laptop you have! Didn't you think it could help other buyers of this charger?

      It's just a standard Lenovo Thinkpad P14S

    Yeah, this thing is light & shadow - because some devices simply won't be charged. I have two 737 chargers. ✌
    What works: iPad Pro 12.9 M1 and iPhone XS, several USB-C headsets
    What doesn't work: Apple Watch (sometimes yes, sometimes no), Lupine SL Mono (USB-C), some devices with USB Micro port
    I even use all Anker cables and tried different cables (Apple Watch: original cable) and tested with only one cable plugged in. Honestly I don't know why the 737 simply won't charge some devices - because these are charged fine on my old Anker PowerPort 5.

      That's strange. It may have something to do with low power demand. Portable batteries now need a specific mode to stay on and charging. I don't think that exists on the 737 charger.

    Seriously are you a Giant?
    It looks minuscule in your hands!
    Do we have the same thing?

      The ports are positioned differently on my one though so maybe I have it's big brother.....

      @Wolfgang790tech  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmmm maybe. But I think the next one up has another type c port

      @@Wolfgang790tech My one is a hefty brick of a thing,far too bulky to keep in your pockets.
      It's the one with the Multi display.
      I was cursing Anker for not giving the charging adapter.
      I had to wait 8+hrs to charge it.

      Ohhhhh you're talking about the battery bank with the same name. Mine is only a wall plug. No battery. I want the battery but really don't need it so it's on the eventually wishlist

      @@Wolfgang790tech It's a good product, if you find it in a sale I'd recommend it.
      it charges my ipad pro & s23 with 25% of its charge.

    I love it when you mentioned Super Fast Charging 2.0

    • @Wolfgang790tech

      It's a very important feature to me so I gotta bring it up

    I bought the 100w anker prime gan charger and its not compatible with any of my surface devices, as a result when plug in it will be on a infinite power cycle loop. Tried on my surface book 2 as well as surface go 2, neither can be charge from the anker top of the line 100w GaN charger. Buyer beware.

    • @Wolfgang790tech
      @Wolfgang790tech  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's interesting. Have you tried with other power bricks aside from the original surface charger and the 100w anker charger?

    • @kentvun
      @kentvun 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Wolfgang7900 yes, in arsenal Ugreen 65w work fine, Aukey 90w work greats. Even Ravpower 30w can slow charge my surface devices. I sure hope someone can prove me wrong if anyone can charge a surface devices on a new 100w anker GaN prime charger.

    • @Wolfgang790tech
      @Wolfgang790tech  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's strange. It might be related to the weird issue I get with samsung super fast charging 2.0. If someone can test with a surface device, it would be greatly appreciated

  • @EstOsv

    Did you test de max watt output on a single port? I returned a 100w anker prime charger it didnt charge al full speed a battery hub for the DJI AIR 3 capable of 100w it only charged at 33w i needed to bought a wattage meter to measure the charger otherwise I woudnt notice

    • @Wolfgang790tech
      @Wolfgang790tech  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have not. Did you also test other chargers to see if they did the 100w? Normally the max wattage is only accepted by a device being charged for 10-20minutes max when at 0 and slows down the nore charged it is. This to prevent overheating.
      Currently I don't have any 100w charging devices so I can't test, but I'm curious if you have tested other chargers, maybe rhe included one right after the anker charger as temperature, how much charge the srone had and cables could affect the results.

    Thanks for the video! Do you still use this to charge your samsung regularly or have you replaced it with something new?

    • @Wolfgang790tech
      @Wolfgang790tech  ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn't say I use it regularly with my samsung device, as I'm normally home where I have a dedicated samsung charger, but I have used it once in a while and don't plan to switch it out any time soon

    Does it show super fast charging 2.0 for Samsung. . . ??

      @Wolfgang790tech  ปีที่แล้ว

      It fpes, I've plugged it in to the S22 ultra and tab s8 ultra. It does show the words, but not the blue circle. It does charge at the super fast charge 2.0 rating

    Useful vid. I watched this before getting this charger for my S23 Ultra and it does the same thing with Super Fast Charging 2.0 where it doesn't show the blue ring or play the 2.0 sound. It still works though. Fully charges the S23U in 58 minutes which is exactly the same time as the Samsung 45W charger. Anker explain why this happens on their site: "the output power of GaNPrime Chargers is constantly adjusted due to dynamic power allocation technology, resulting in it appearing green rather than blue".

    • @Wolfgang790tech
      @Wolfgang790tech  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, works great, it would be nice if it showed the blue ring though

    Can you use thsi, charger with a steam deck

    • @Wolfgang790tech
      @Wolfgang790tech  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a good question, it should work fine as both my Samsung phone and the Steam Deck both use 45 watt charging
