Oh man ! You’re great 👍🏼 Thank you for these cinematography breakdowns. Each time I’m learning from you light working on narrative cinematography. Quick shots you made here is insane 🙌🏼
PS. This video is a tad too quiet for TH-cam. Videos should be mastered at -14 LUFs. You can check if it's too quiet by doing a test upload, right-clicking on the video player > Stats for nerds > Volume / Normalized. This video reads "content loudness -12.6dB". This means that it's 12.6dB under the ideal loudness, but generally anything over about -6 is fine.
Great breakdown! Some super useful creative tips in there. It’s so easy in production to get behind schedule when timing goes wrong, but these tips could seriously save a lot of time
I wouldn't mind a little more volume in the video. Levels are quite low compared to the commercials that YT throws at you in the middle of the video so the difference literally makes you jump
Great video, always appreciate the insights. Do you have any guidance on silk frames? Where to buy and what is required for price (they're all over the place $299-$1000+) - these types of professional set products don't get discussed a lot on TH-cam.

Great video. The issue I have with RED Komodo (and I own one) is not matter what, it's not an Alexa. The motion doesn't have the filmic motion that Alexa does.
What "lut" or "log" are these images you are showing? How are you metering the komodo, using the histogram on screen? What ISO/settings were you using, and did you "black shade" the camera for every scene or shot or at all? Everything looks good.
Dude, in that first setup a roll of ND gel would have been easier than setting up all those lights trying to match the other window.
10:01 The sun sandwich works here because the bounce is motivated by the concrete
From a cinematography standpoint, I feel like this video was way more educational than that of your latest short film. 😄
Some of the best work I've seen you do. Excellent!
I really like the sun sandwich shot! seemed like the bounce was adding texture to the shirt.
Love the boomed out bounce!
The grading/skin tones are perfect in those shots!
Love your work... Really nice to get some inspiration!
Much thanks from Australia!

Thanks for making this Spenser. Love this cinematography breakdowns. Do you usually rent a truck full of all the G&E?
Thanks dude
I really like your approach to lighting. Very similar to Patrick O’Sullivan, which is great!
Great video man, what’s the stand used with the menace arm?

Great shoot and awesome breakdown! Thanks. Btw. Are you still using the R5C?
Your stills made me buy the lens.
Great video! Did you use Meike lenses with Komodo in this production? :)
Oh man my blood pressure when they cut the onener, wow, you must be a zen master at this point.
How did you rigged the gimbal on the speedrails?

I see you using a lot of regular "impact stands" instead of C stands on the wide shot... why do you prefer the regular stands, weight?
Somehow I thought it'll be one of those videos where one doesn't need $50k of gear 😆
Which camera did u use for these shots ?? ❤
Lots of those images look like Euphoria S1 (the softness, very shallow DOF, color palette, etc) 👍
Do you have any idea why the Canon FD 24mm has skyrocketed in price recently? I can’t find any on Ebay for under $5,000
Honestly
Thats insane.
I shoulda bought fd lenses 10 years ago when I had my first mirrorless. 😢
You ceant ealweys geet what yoe want huney
