I love this human so much! Last year in April or May my son was in the hospital and my daughter demanded we go see my favorite band. Doug blew her 14 year old mind. My son could have died. He made it through. but has not seen Built to Spill yet. And is a massive fan. I cried the the whole show.
Awesome, I’ve loved them since the 90’s and finally got to see them in 2017 and even though it wasn’t the same band, it was great. Hope your son made it through and will get to see Doug

Thanks for the upload. Now I know not to go see them for this in July... Doug has lost the little interest and exuberance he once had for his great music. The new guys aren’t into it either
have you guys ever seen built to spill before? i've never seen them jump around on stage or show "exuberance." doug actually said at one show "if it looks like we're not having fun, we ARE. it's just hard to play" sounds great to me!
sublemon311 You know what you’re talking about. But you don’t know what I’m talking about. I’ve seen built to spill several times. I’ve listened to countless live shows. You also missed a very small but crucial part of my comment, I said “little” enthusiasm he once had. And he did. He’s just getting old and he knows these guys can’t come close to the talent of old Brettx2, Scott and Jim lineup

Just bought my ticket to see them in a couple weeks. Kinda bummed now after skimming through this video. Pretty lifeless performance
