I ordered a WOLF WARRIOR 11+ Yesterday from Fluid Free Rides. Delivery is supposed to be in the 1st week of June. To say I’m pumped would be an understatement. My 1st scooter ever was a ZERO 9 from Rev Rides. It’s a quality piece. Nice looking, cool LED lights 360° all around but she is only 600 watts so acceleration is tepid. Top end is said to be 28mph but IMO my 170lb frame can really only make her go about 25MPH. Now that’s not bad for a $1K scooter but I was really looking for something substantially quicker. FFR seems to be another company like Rev Rides that really cares about its customers and I hear the service is fantastic. Hopefully I won’t need them to much for service but it’s always nice to know that you are not on your own if something goes wrong. Now that the warm weather is on its way I can’t wait to hit the trails on the WW11+.
I had a tough time choosing between the two, ultimately I went with the Thunder. It's been a blast to ride around town. Great review. One of the best PEV channels onTH-cam!! Keep it up dude.
I chose the Thunder because of your review videos. Originally I was ready to buy a WW11+ because it's $1000USD less than the Thunder but after seeing your video comparing the 3 scooters and the WW11+ not able to make up a steep incline while the Thunder and Zero 11x was able to, then I decided on the Thunder. Also you showed that only on 60% of battery, the Thunder was able to accelerate faster than WW11+ with 100% battery. That was enough proof to me that the Thunder is the real deal! Now I have own the Thunder for a week. It's been great except for the very stiff suspension. I need to break in the suspension or I will need to change to softer cart later.
Lower your arms 1 level. That will soften rubber suspension quicker. Everything has improved. Steering, handling, suspension softened after 40-50km of hard riding. Standard setup is great, but Dualtrons are made to be modified, so get your wallet out and take your beast to town.
Great detailed review as always. I always liked the thunder. Mostly because of the lighting. I usually ride late at night or early in the morning. So being seen is a priority. Then comes range and speed.
Things which come to mind regarding the geometry and design of current high performance scooters. Since one is in an upright position putting the breaks on won't really arrest one's inertia one will simply go over the handle bars at those speeds. Now if there was some kind of foot brace to counteract that breaking force then it would make sense. My second concern is stability under high speeds. These higher performance scooters are essentially light motor vehicles yet they don't have all the stability that goes a long with "real" motor vehicles like sit down scooters. They need to go larger on the wheels to make them safer. Lastly, I question whether a a single steering column is sufficient for reliability and stability purposes. The foldability of the steering column seems to me like a potential point of failure either by user error, natural loosening of bolts or fatigue. Only time will tell. To conclude, I think the rake of the fork needs to be increased to provide better high speed stability and the front and rear of the board should have an upward slope to allow for bracing. As you mentioned the Dualtron does not come with what I would call essential safety features. Those should not be addons. Imagine going to purchase a car and seatbelts, horn and power breaks were an addon. There really needs to be standardization and regulation to make sure people get a product which performs safely. There are risks with many sports and activities but there are also best practices and due diligence to be accounted for.
I couldn’t agree with you more about the wheel size I think it’s ridiculous to run around at high speeds with a little 11 inch wheel how hard would it be to put at least a 16 inch wheel and some different engineering to keep the deck height at the current location
You need to add steering damper to feel safer on the Dualtron. Otherwise you have to ensure your weight be more on the front to be able to handle wobbles.
I ordered Apollo ghost last month still haven't got shipping/Tracking email yet. Im giving them to the 1st of may and when i wake up if i dont see a shipping order and tracking Im canceling it and ordering WW 11. There in stock and be to my house in 10 days from the day of order at Voro Motors.
If I purchased the wolf the tyres would come off straight away before i've even ridden a mile, the off road tread pattern is just too aggressive imo for primarily tarmac use. What are your thoughts? Do Wolf offer a alternative tyre option officially? If not get some amazon affiliate links for road Wolf Warrior Tyres like slicks too bring in a potential purchase! Thanks, great video.
Thanks for the comment! Yes there are road tires you can see them in the video against the zero 11x. I think indeed they are offered by kaabo. Similar to thunder tires but a bit narrower. Rides really well then :)
@@mr_wrongway Thanks for the quick reply, I will definitely check that out by Kaabo. Currently debating on whether or not to buy a Widewheel Pro! @@shifty277 😉 I would not recommend a widewheel tho...imo solid tires are have very poor riding characteristics. Scooters are very 'rattly' and harsh and in rain they are very slippery. Suspensions helps but only for bigger bumps. In this price range i'd rather get the speedway mini pro (solid tire just in rear and good suspension, but still a bit stiff) or other scooters with 10 inch tires. Sure thing! I appreciate it!

Great Vid. Love your work mate. It'll be interesting to see the Wolf Warrior with street tyres as opposed to mud tires. It'll have better take off speed and hill climb (on cement) with more rubber on the road. More rubber contact on the Thunder with street tyres will of course have better acceleration. Keep up the excellent work mate. Looking to get the Mantis Pro so looking forward to your thoughts on that version!
Aliexpress is cool if I save $ but I could get it from Kreo the USA dealer for cheaper and have a warranty that doesn't make me ship overseas. I really want to have a warranty that I can get service if I have any problems. This video is great I am deciding which scooter to buy and when spending ~3k don't want to make a regrettable decision. I think I will go with the Wolf Warrior it seems great and safe with the dual steering column. I don't need to fold it up so Wolf seems good. Now I need to decide on off-road or street tires.
