@@EUC-NYC-GUY standing like that also leads to too much pulling on the handle bars. It decreases the life of the stem and can lead to stem breaking. You need to stand like on a skateboard and use your legs to balance. When you get good enough at scootering you actually almost never need to lean on or pull the stem at all to keep balance. You only use the stem to steer left and right. Your legs do all the balancing.
53mph max the DT2 can get to 60 but ain't no way u getting to 56 on original Thunder. I have it and I'm small about 140lbs. Also both these dudes have no gear on its pretty scary

Later on, however I realize that my hip and back would hurt from the normal stance with all that pressure and force being applied on one leg all the time. His forward facing stance is actually symmetrical and probably healthier in the long run. Go figure! Lol.
