Great video. The music in this is really excellent, is there a name for the song of artist? Maybe a website (TH-cam page, sound cloud, twitter, etc.) for whoever made the music? Thanks!
I'm literally watching this to review for my exams TODAY. Yes I'm stupid and yes I regret it. Edit/update: Whoo! This helped me answer questions related to earthquake (Didn't pass tho but ehhh)
Amen, my Master Thesis is giving headache is about The effect of Near-Fault Pulse-Like Ground Motion on Base-Isolated Structure. Quick question whats is the SPORADIC WAVE.
Great animation. although there's a mistake on the part when it shows the different effects of each seismic wave to different substrates. when it said that the P waves push and pull the ground when in fact, particle motions should be parallel to the wave propagation direction. Thus, it should have been forward and backward. The arrows are also incorrect.
To see the awful results, here is a link to The Damnedest, Finest Ruins, considered the definitive documentary on the 1906 Earthquake - also from KQED-PBS
Watch this video clip: kayakers found a rapid stream of bubbles in the ocean near the epicenter after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake rocked Kaikoura, New Zealand on 14 November 2016.Earthquake is caused by continuous build-up of trapped steam or gases underneath the bedrock until it snapped. When this happened, the earthquake ensued. After trapped steam or gases have escaped, fragmented bedrocks rebalanced themselves in which such act caused aftershocks. If you are interested in real discoveries, I would recommend you to read my book, The Unification Theory - Volume One and you will be amazed with lots of new, interesting discoveries. In God I trust.

+Gentleman's Archive Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm also trying to learn.
+Gentleman's Archive What I'm trying to say here by the way is that maybe the demonstrations for P and S body waves were mistakenly exchanged.
