Raag Shree very effectively explained and demonstrated.... Would you please elaborate briefly the meaning of 1st 2nd in sthayee and 4th line in antara for viewers understanding.
I was too quick. After 3 minutes it goes briefly into mian ki malhar and then returns to kirvani. This shows the danger of recognising raags from film songs. The advice given at the end is the only way to identify raags. Film composers are not bound by raag grammar and they use whatever comes to mind. Also, some of the most beautiful songs are not in any raag.
Mam could you please post this bandish chalo ri mai..you have beautifully explained the raag but while practicing the traditional bandish teental chalo ri mayi in the antara which starts from (ma dha sa' ) (raam word ) i think the raag chalan goes wrong. Is it allowed the phrase ma*dha sa'
