the 1st method which under 'Generate' doesn't exsit in mayaLT, the straight pip method really helped me ! thank u! why so few ppl watch and thumb up it

Yes, glad I could help. I used to use 3DSMax and pipes are far easier to make in that. This is a decent method in Maya, but I do know there are some good plugins out there if you want extra control.

My OCD is triggered when you place cylinders not in equal distance to one another when you do 90 degrees pipes :D Probably why you get pinched imperfect inner curve topology.
Hmm, this would be some sort of secondary pipe inside, with the outer one having a transparent material and some way of un- masking the inner pipe to show it filling. Its more of a render/animation question. I hope you find a solution 👍
