Yes it did!...and so did the other videos. Thank you!! I was going to say this on discord but decided to do it here since it will help boost the TH-cam algorithm 😏
Always the best. Learnt a lot from you regarding surfacing , texturing and rendering and applied that in my professional job. ♥️ Looking forward to more pro tips from you. ♥️
I appreciated the math breakdown of the AA samples. Had no idea the adaptive sampling was (X)*00 and not just (X*)0. I wouldn't mind a further optimizing breakdown for kicking off a render. I was using Arnold's Batch render till my trial expired and now I am using sequence render. It feels way slower but I have no idea how it's working under the hood at the moment. I will probably dig into that science sometime next month. Great video. 15 mins of really useful things I'll come back to reference often.
Good reminders. I use Arnold for VFX work and I'm always amazed at how there are nice balances where it gets cleaner both AND faster. Thanks for spreading your knowledge!

@@foreversaint__ that's the way to do it! THanks :)
Very helpful, any chance of a brief walkthrough for applying it (Noice) to AOVs?
Nice revised update of your earlier two videos on optimizing rendering for ARNOLD, which were already very helpful. Passed on to my students!
Glad it was helpful! More to come!
This is something I always struggle to optimize. Thanks for the tips.
No worries, hope they are helping :)
@@arvidurs It literally saved me hours and cut my render time substantially. Many thanks, it's the method I'll always use.

That's amazing to hear! Thanks for the kind words!
This is so cool, thank you so much for making this
happy to help!
thank you for showing gpu optimization.
Thank you for the tips they are quite useful.
Thanks for making this, highly informative!
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome! Thanks for this!
This is great info. Very few people ever explain these settings.
Onpoint
Really good, I'm rendering my ABC animation, this just what I needed! Thank you!
ALWAYS GREAT!

Yeah sampling is very important to understand. No always as straight forward, but once you grasp the ins/outs its easy to adjust and optimize
Great Stuff, Arvid.
Appreciated!
Great video Arvid! thanks for the insight
Perfect! Very helpful.
Wow, that's a beautiful render.
A breakdown would be nice. Is there a link to autodesk webinar?
Everything is clear now :') Thanks!
Glad I could help!
This is awesome! Any special reason why you hid the xgen twig for the GPU part (like, if GPU doesn't support xgen)?
Haha good catch! I run in to issues with that yes, it was crashing my scene. Not sure if it was related to GPU though
Can you tell us more about your workstation?
Components, GPU processor speed...etc.
Do you already have a video on this topic?
Thanks

Great video!❤❤
Really useful information! thanks for sharing! It will definitely improve my render times
Great to hear that Hector, thanks!
Really professional tutorial. Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks Arvid . where can i get this sence for Practice rendering ?
ty very much
Omg, thank you so much for this tutorial!! You have saved a life!
Glad it helped!
Imager not working in maya on Mac
nice!
Awesome👍👍
Can I apply this rules to cycles, too?
Yeah similar workflow and principles can be applied to any renderer
Where can I take this model beetles? Please, I really really need this model!

At least show once what is your workstation configuration.
Why does it matter so much
@@arvidurs if it doesn't matter so much why are you using threadripper with multiple gpu? It is very powerful configuration. I may be wrong
