Almost all empirical sciences are destined to change always and to confirmed the Quran by them seems an intellectual flaws. This is so problematic. When you superimpose a scientific interpretation on ambiguous verses of the Qur'an, you make them highly prone to scientific criticisms concerning firstly, the accuracy of the apparent science in the Qur'an, and secondly, to the volatile and corrigible nature of science. In other words, for the detractors of Islam, the ayat are not scientifically accurate, and scientific knowledge develops over time with falsifiability and scientific revolutions/paradigm shifts.
You make a very good point and there are definitely many Muslims who have read science into the Quran where it clearly wasn't intended by the Quran. But we need to be careful of not making the opposite mistake, too, i.e., we need to be careful of ignoring the scientific meaning when it was clearly intended by the Quran. Because when we say that a scientific meaning is intended by a verse, we are making an interpretive claim, and when we say that a scientific meaning is not intended by a verse, we are STILL also making an interpretive claim. Both of them need to be justified. And that justification has a process and science behind, which is studied in the science of Arabic eloquence (balagha) and the science of scriptural interpretation (usul al-fiqh). The justification isn't random and it isn't arbitrary. Unfortunately, many people who have spoken about the scientific miracles in the Quran have done it arbitrarily and they've ended up interpreting the Quran according to their own whims by simply inserting science into the Quran without justification, and this insertion of whims into the Quran without justification is something that we see a lot in many Muslim extremist groups as well. But I have a point... The type of claims that a scientific fact is written in a holy book is made by all religions ( even Hindus). For example there is a verse in Gita that (well quit incredibly!!!) explains the distance between Sun and Earth. There is a Line, 'Juga Sahastra Yojana Bhanu, Leelyo Tahi Madhura Phala Janu' means.. 1 Juug=4,320,000 Years = 12000 Divine Years 1 Sahastra= 1000 Years. It is same to the Distance Calculated by Nasa. And personally think this scientific fact is far more astounding than any scientific fact mentioned in the Quran. So, does that mean Gita(Hinduism) is more true than Quran(Islam). PLEASE don't see it as criticism on Islam. It is a genuine question which always arises in my mind whenever I some Muslim saying that: Islam is true because there is a scientific fact in Quran.

This is so problematic. When you superimpose a scientific interpretation on ambiguous verses of the Qur'an, you make them highly prone to scientific criticisms concerning firstly, the accuracy of the apparent science in the Qur'an, and secondly, to the volatile and corrigible nature of science. In other words, for the detractors of Islam, the ayat are not scientifically accurate, and scientific knowledge develops over time with falsifiability and scientific revolutions/paradigm shifts.
You make a very good point and there are definitely many Muslims who have read science into the Quran where it clearly wasn't intended by the Quran. But we need to be careful of not making the opposite mistake, too, i.e., we need to be careful of ignoring the scientific meaning when it was clearly intended by the Quran. Because when we say that a scientific meaning is intended by a verse, we are making an interpretive claim, and when we say that a scientific meaning is not intended by a verse, we are STILL also making an interpretive claim. Both of them need to be justified. And that justification has a process and science behind, which is studied in the science of Arabic eloquence (balagha) and the science of scriptural interpretation (usul al-fiqh). The justification isn't random and it isn't arbitrary. Unfortunately, many people who have spoken about the scientific miracles in the Quran have done it arbitrarily and they've ended up interpreting the Quran according to their own whims by simply inserting science into the Quran without justification, and this insertion of whims into the Quran without justification is something that we see a lot in many Muslim extremist groups as well. The type of claims that a scientific fact is written in a holy book is made by all religions ( even Hindus).
For example there is a verse in Gita that (well quit incredibly!!!) explains the distance between Sun and Earth. It goes as follows:
Distance Between Earth and Sun was already mentioned in "Hanuman Chalisa". There is a Line, 'Juga Sahastra Yojana Bhanu, Leelyo Tahi Madhura Phala Janu' means.. 1 Juug=4,320,000 Years = 12000 Divine Years 1 Sahastra= 1000 Years. It is same to the Distance Calculated by Nasa.
And personally think this scientific fact is far more astounding than any scientific fact mentioned in the Quran.
So, does that mean Gita(Hinduism) is more true than Quran(Islam).
