This was incredible. May Allah reward Dr. Khan. The fact that he is a practicing medical doctor here in the US (a highly liberal, materialistic society), taking time out of his busy schedule to take an active interest in deepening our understanding of Islam, is truly so appreciated 🙏

I read the whole book once it came out , I felt it connects all the pieces of puzzles I was struggling to see in the light of Quran...
Truly a breakthru in understanding divine guidance in the light of the presence..

What is presently going on in Gaza represents the failure of a Sunni nation in Gaza supporting a terrorist attack on a much stronger foe at a time when the leader of that foe was facing serious legal challenges to maintain his stranglehold on power. The outcome was somewhat predictable in terms of that leader then using the opportunity for war as a smokescreen both as a democide against his own people and a genocide on Gazans. These are nations which have both gone badly astray and surely Allah will replace them with better people.

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious and Most Merciful
And those who disbelieve are allies of one another, (and) if you (Muslims of the whole world collectively) do not do so [i.e. become allies, as one united block under one Khalifah (a chief Muslim ruler for the whole Muslim world) to make victorious Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism], there will be Fitnah (wars, battles, polytheism) and oppression on the earth, and a great mischief and corruption (appearance of polytheism). 8: 73
Why are we Muslims not talking about reestablishing the power and control Allah SWT give us from the beginning? The command is to unite under one Khalifah.
The number one concern on the minds of the Muslims is the tragedy in Gazza. The destruction in Gazza is worse than that of Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined. The Zionist Israelis are the modern day Amelak as they were a tribe from nation of the Israelites and their brutality in Gazza and West Bank is the evidence.
We have to listen to what Allah SWT is saying to us in the above verse and from the beginning.
"And Remember when your Lord said to the Angels, I am going place Khalifah on earth".... 2: 30
You see the UN which controlled by USA, is dead body in the muddy water as every resolution passed by majority, is vetoed by USA. Which means we have to create a balance of power in the world by creating United League of Muslim Nations. Which is to reestablish the Caliphate because we are children of Adam, peace be upon him .
"United League of Muslim Nations" under one Khalifah will be a strictly defensive Force with a quick response to any threat to the Ummah of Islam.
And it is easy to do it. It will be the Council of Muftis, from which they will choose the Khalifah. Under the Khalifah will be a seat for a Mufti from every country in world with 100,000 plus Muslim population as Islam is for entire World. From every municipality we will choose a representative till we have the Council of Muftis for that country with a Grand Mufti of that country to sit in the Council of Muftis under the Khalifah. All communication can be done remotely with everyone working from home. Most effective and real democratic way of governing where all decisions are made by the Council of Muftis but the Khalifah having the final say. Under the Khalifah, the "ULMN" will have its own army, navy and Air Force under one commander for defending the entire ummah. We already have the hardware from major Muslim countries. They just have to be relabeled "ULMN" when they out to defend any part of the Ummah like removing the Mediterranean Sea blockade by Israelis. The four letters "ULMN" will be enough to deter anyone from doing what is happening in Gazza today. But we have to be the Nation of Al Muttaqun for Allah SWT is saying now:
"You are the Best of People ever raised up for Mankind, enjoining what is Good, forbidding what is evil and believing in Allah SWT" .... Quran 3: 110
Then how can we go wrong when the fear of "ULMN" will overwhelm the hearts of our enemies?
That is what Islam is and we are Muslims to resolve every matter in a Peaceful manner, Insha Allah. Alhamdu Lillah.
If no one is willing to act as the acting Khalifah, I will be the acting Khalifah till one is chosen and sincerely invite all Muslims to join me in this effort, for if we fail but we will never fail, we will still get one Hashanah for our intentions, Insha Allah
    Jazak Allah Khair
    Your brother
    Abu Saad
Acting Khalifah (as Son of Adam, AS).

Yes, my dear brothers, my beloved Palestine is the cradle of Christianity and Judaism, and it contains Al-Aqsa, the third holiest place for us Muslims in Palestine. Bethlehem, the cradle of Christ, is a blessed land, and it is the holy land, and it has been our land for tens of thousands of years, and it is the land of the Canaanite Arabs, the original Palestinian people, and they have lived in it since the Islamic conquest in the era. The Umayyad, Abbasid and Ottoman Arabs, Muslims, Christians and Jews are like brothers and neighbors under Palestinian rule to the owners of the land, but the Zionists came and the British occupation brought them to our land as compensation to the Jews for what they did to them Hitler. The question here is that who did the Holocaust, the Germans, why do I, the Palestinian Arab, pay the price? Why not Germany? Why do I, the Muslim, pay the price for crimes? Committed by the Germans and Nazi Europe, fascism is the root of all evil in the world. Our problem is the occupation🙏Palestine is an area of more than 27 thousand square kilometers and is on the borders of Egypt and Jordan, which historically is part of Palestine and the people of Jordan, more than 70 percent of whom are of Palestinian origin, but Britain made them a state and brought agents to the Jordanian ruling dynasty in order to rule Jordan and protect the occupation from the Jordanian-Palestinian people Palestine Its capital, Jerusalem, is the land of the Palestinian people for tens of thousands of years. It is the cradle of Christianity and Judaism, and it is the third holiest place for us Muslims. It is a land where most of God’s prophets lived, were born, and died. It is the holy and blessed land and the land of the Palestinian and Arab people. Muslims, Jews, and Christians lived there for thousands of years as neighbors and brothers before the Zionists occupied our land. Britain brought them in the Balfour Declaration to occupy our land. Those who committed the Holocaust against the Jews were the Germans and the West, not me.🙏🙏🙏القدس عاصمة فلسطين

At 86 my vision of existence goes further than religions and politics. ETERNITY and REALITY: I have been part of the sky and part of the sea. I have been the wind and the tree. This is how I know that I was, that I am, and that when I die, the atoms of my body will become part of million of bodies for millions of years. My reality is the same as every living or not living creature, on earth and in the universe, as in the past, in the future, for ETERNITY. All religions and sacred book are a human creation. Netanyahu has been inspired in his extreme cruelty by the Thora and the Bible.

And Taoism is newer compared to the various ethnic religions that existed in Southern China before Han Chinese expansion. Well, if only you knew that Islam is not a label, it's a verb. It transcends all human communities (a statement controversial for even most Muslims). It's our Fitrah/innate disposition.

      Core Concept of the Path.
Taoism. The Tao (translated as "the Way" or "the Path") is the ultimate reality and source of everything in the universe. It represents the natural order that one should align with to live a harmonious life. However, the Tao itself is ineffable and beyond human comprehension, as Laozi states: “The Tao that can be spoken of is not the eternal Tao.”
Islam. The term Shariah translates to "a path to water," symbolizing the way of life that leads to spiritual nourishment and closeness to Allah. Like the Tao, the essence of Allah is unknowable; what is accessible to humans are His attributes (Asma' al-Husna) and actions, as conveyed in the Quran and Hadith.
Just as Taoism encourages living in accordance with the Tao to achieve balance, Islam emphasizes following the Shariah for a just and righteous life, grounded in God's guidance.
      Unknowability of the Divine.
Taoism. The Tao is described as being beyond names, forms, and human comprehension. It can only be experienced indirectly through its manifestations in nature and existence.
Islam. Allah's transcendence is emphasized in verses like Quran 6:103: "Perception comprehends Him not, but He comprehends all perception. And He is the Subtle, the Aware." While His essence remains beyond human understanding, His attributes and signs (ayat) in creation reveal His immanence.
In Taoism, the flowing of a river or the cycles of nature exemplify the Tao. In Islam, the beauty and order of creation, such as the balance in the universe, are signs of Allah's attributes like Al-Hakim (the Wise) and Al-Khaliq (the Creator).
      Immanence and Transcendence.
Taoism. The Tao is simultaneously beyond form (transcendence) and present in all things (immanence). This duality encourages humility and reverence for life.
Islam. Allah's transcendence (tanzih) highlights His absolute uniqueness and incomparability. At the same time, His immanence (tashbih) is reflected in verses like Quran 50:16: "And We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein." This dual aspect fosters love and submission.
A Taoist may see the growth of a tree as an embodiment of the Tao. A Muslim sees Allah’s immanence in the tree's creation, nurturing, and role in the ecosystem while affirming that Allah is unlike any created thing.

While Taoism and Islam differ in their foundational beliefs, both traditions emphasize humility before an unknowable ultimate reality and provide paths (Tao or Shariah) to guide human behavior in harmony with that reality. These shared themes encourage deeper reflection on life's purpose and the interconnectedness of existence.

Taoism: The goal is to achieve harmony with the Tao and attain a state of balance, tranquility, and unity with the universe.
Islam: The ultimate purpose is to worship Allah and achieve closeness to Him, culminating in eternal peace in Paradise (Jannah).
Example: A Taoist might meditate on nature to internalize its harmony, while a Muslim engages in Salah (prayer) to connect with Allah and align their life with His will.

The biggest threat to life on earth are humans who believe that they are gods chosen, There is no god but Knowledge, and wisdom is the expression of the knowledgeable. no amount of religion will ever reach such a pinnacle of understanding of the life, than your own livingness of it, it is not in a book written by a god for man, but written into the Life by your own actions into the godhead. You will be held accountable for the things you created and hung onto, until death takes you. Al Quran is based in the knowledge of the Ruh/nafs/self and how it should strive for a peaceful life, nothing to do with government criminals or reprobate religionist. with all of their self delusions about how others should live, do not for one minute of your life think you have any authority over any other living expression of knowledgeable livingness, you dont, and should you persist in the forms of control mechanisms you support, you are in deep shirk.. Alhamndulilah, all praise to the most Knowledgeable. dont be a sucker for the tales from the crypt, life is only (ONLY) present in the PRESENCE of life. i.e. Intelligence. Deen = Debt, dont be late with your payments in gratitude for the Peaceful way.

    Nazir, you wrote-
"ʿIbādah is a comprehensive term for everything that Allah loves and is pleased with, including both inward and outward speech and actions. It encompasses prayer, charity, fasting, pilgrimage, truthful speech, fulfilling trusts, being kind to parents, maintaining family ties, honoring agreements, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong.
*It also includes striving against disbelievers and hypocrites,* being kind to neighbors, orphans, the needy, travelers, slaves, and animals, as well as supplication, remembrance, recitation of the Qur’an, and similar acts of worship."
My observation of your words is that they are all positive virtues for humans to have and to do to others *except for the phrase I put in bold* which says,
*It also includes striving against disbelievers and hypocrites.*
Striving against others can certainly be verbal, but, sadly, Islamic terrorist-believers are convicted that disbelievers and hypocrites deserve death as their punishment from Allah, and terrorists are carrying out the will of Allah: MURDER.
This is why Islam is a distasteful religion to Westerners. After experiencing Allah's will at the hands of his believing muslims and realizing that muslims rarely, if ever, condemn the atrocities done by muslims against Christians and Jews as on October 7th, Islam remains a foreign, hate-filled religion of "us believing muslims against you unbelieving Christians and Jews."

Those who committed the Holocaust against the Jews were the Germans and the West, not me.🙏🙏🙏على ايران ان تصبح دولة نووية وتملك السلاح النووي وتعمل على تطوير برنامجها النووية وتشتري طائرات ودفاع جوي من روسيا وزيادة دعم محور المقاومة والمقاومة في لبنان وعليها كشف عملاء الاحتلال وتحيدهم وإيقاف الاختراق الأمريكي ومن الاحتلال لها عليها تطوير برنامجها الصاروخي والنووي بسرعة🤲
