This is by far one of the best explanations out there about tunes! Love how you didn't interrupt him and he goes onto explain his lives work in detail. Not many people do that! Clearly he loves his work. Thank you for making this and sharing.
soooo good to hear the craftsman speaking about his business, very, very informative vid, have watched other video's like this in the past but they never go this far into detail, guess they wanted to keep some secrets. this was the best I ever watched! thank you!
Very interesting! You're cleary a GSXR 750 enthousiast, 👍 fantastic project. Greetings from a belgian owner of a Suzuki gsxr Virus 1000 , fan of your videos.
I think the stock cans on those bikes are great. They are light and sound great and now we know they work almost the best. Love that bike and color scheme!
Learned a lot on this one. Thanks for sharing that peak power should not be the only goal when tuning, drivability especially for the environment the bike will be ridden most is key for well tuned motor. Cheers
What a cool journey! Amazing to take a used bike and give it such love and care and return it to such a solid state. Happy bike and a happy proud owner. Good for you man 👍
Cheers for that Neevesy, I'll be taking my 750 K8 up to BSD in the spring for a remap to smooth everything out. They certainly seem to know their stuff up there 👍
I've watched nearly all of the brocks videos, yea man managed to say the same in less than 30 mins, hats off to him. Then to Bruce and Bob for getting the bike up to this standard. Ps if your at an airfield, it might get better numbers now. :)
@@neevesybikesjust bought a mint 2011 fireblade for £5700 with 7000 miles on clock. Taylor made pipe and QS. I absolutely love this era of bikes and incredible value for money now. Was super tempted for a GSXR750 or 1000 too but couldn’t pass up that snub nose blade.
An amazing and informative explanation so thanks a lot for that. The big question, though, is how's it running or is that a cliffhanger for the next episode?!!
I must say that you are in the hands of a truly passionate professional interested in satisfying your every desire regarding the power of the bike. However, if I were you I would get a classic oval or round slip on such as an Arrow or an Akrapovic. A classic oval or round exhaust will help muffle the sound and you can use it without DB-Killer freeing the engine from that annoying restriction. The Yoshimura R77 also looks really good on our bike. I have the same bike as you, remember that. ☺
Hey Neevesy, amazing work sorting out the gxr! That was one of the best tuning explanations I’ve heard. I’m about to do the suspension of my 848 evo and would be interested to know who is your suspension guy. Keep up the mega videos! Thanks Leo
Well chuffed fo you gettin the new plugs to sort the running. And wow, that dyno fella knows his stuff, very interesting. but 26 runs on the dyno? most harleys dont get that kinda distance in an average year! thanks as always for taking us on this 'ride'. with you
M, watched and loved all your GixxerTales uploads, this was by far the most useful to me (L1, same mileage as yours). Brilliant. Correct me if I’m wrong, but cool tuner guy, did he just call your Gucci end can a show pony?? I’ve got one (not fitted), but have Yosh R11 fitted. Next time you speak to the guy, ask him if the R11 is also a show pony, or if it’s (twin outlets) are less restrictive to flow??? Keep up the good work, and keep dropping the phrase ‘my GSXR750’ into every MCN / Neevesybikes video you ever make…. Forever 😂👍. #NeverSellItPal … I’m not 😂
Remarkable. My old 2000 GSX-R750 with a full Arrow system and a K&N filter after "tuning" (with the Yosh box) made 126 at the wheel back in 2002 I think.
That was fascinating. So if I understand it, you've effectively had the stock bike tuned to make it smoother, is that correct? I've got the L5 MotoGP edition which has a different yoshi end can and I wonder if it's also with doing.
Tbh that exhaust lets it down, that style is a bit naff. The rest of the bike look mint though. That poor lad explaining the tune needed a lemsip big time. Fantastic video 😊
stop that bloody music !!!! if i want to go to rave i would . Why oh why do youtubers feel the need to add music to what is otherwise excellent content.
thats the best mapping explanations i've listened to, cheers [that yoshi was a suzi option, so surprised how much restriction the baffle had]
Andy knows his onions, eh? 👍
Just a masterclass in engine tuning, why stock maps are the way they are, and what messing with them does for good or bad.
Andy clearly lives his life understanding engine's that's dedication and obsession 😅

I was mesmerised myself! Glad you enjoyed it 😊👍
Amazing to hear the technical explanation from the guy at BSD on the map. He clearly knows his stuff. Thank you
If there was ever a man I wanted to buy a pint - it’s that man at BSD! 🍻👍🏻
I’m sure he’d gladly accept 🍺
Great vid Michael and great mapping explanation 👍
Cheers, Chopsie. Hope to see you soon 😊👍

Cheers buddy. Keep it lit!
best tuning explanation ever... Just shows that a new can without mapping is just wrong. Another great Neevsey video.
What an episode... loved it to bits 🤗
Thanks matey 😊👍

Brilliant video Michael. BSD guy was fascinating.
Man that young (young to me) guy knows is onions, the way he explain things makes the dark art of remapping make a little more sense...I think
I must admit I didn’t follow all of it! 😄
Masterclass in tuning, thanks
Chap knows his stuff quality vid 👌

Exactly! Thanks for watching 👍
absorbing all that information is so satisfying.
I really enjoyed this episode listening to the tuner's show & tell.
That was so informative. I just so happened to be trying a bit of remapping. Way beyond my level of sophistication but very interesting.
Such a cool video! Love the gixxer
Thanks mate 😊👍
Really good info about mapping and how it works and brilliant fella!
He's good, eh?!
Great video, BSD stuff was fascinating 🤓

Superb content, huge thanks for it!

When you started it back up with the new plugs it sounded right.
Learnt a lot from the dyno guy.
neevesy a proper rave lad eh? love it! Uuuooo44433- Choco Time
An amazing and informative explanation so thanks a lot for that. The big question, though, is how's it running or is that a cliffhanger for the next episode?!!
It's running beautifully, but I'll give it a proper road test in the next episode!
It starts easy batteries strong

Great tuner. I would search for stock muffler.
Final piece of jigsaw has to be a bosozoku style seat ?

Hi mate. The next video will cover all the suspension upgrades 😊👍
Throttle bodies maybe need balancing ecu flash to match exhaust

Very interesting, I have a Panigale V2 and this just wants me to find out a little bit more.
Outstanding explanation, this tunner knows the beans. I’m curious about what bike does he own ride?
That First cylinder in view looks different higher up the header ?

The lad in the video knows his stuff I bet he could do a 2 or 3 hour talk on tuning
Surprised the plugs were the issue at that mileage!
Still, a result is a result 👍
…and a cheap fix, luckily!
I had a similar behaviour on my CBR1100XX recently and it was the cold start wax unit and linkages sticking a bit.
Very interesting, I was thinking of fitting a decat pipe on on my Monster, after listing to this ( he clearly knows what he is doing), maybe not.
Might be worth leaving it be for the road. Still worth a remap, though...
I was just looking to make it sound better without going too loud.
Remarkable. My old 2000 GSX-R750 with a full Arrow system and a K&N filter after "tuning" (with the Yosh box) made 126 at the wheel back in 2002 I think.
Its off cylinder or not on 4 properly
really want to get my r1 2007 sorted out the same way, but where to find someone with comparable knowledge up close? Idon't know.
That was fascinating. So if I understand it, you've effectively had the stock bike tuned to make it smoother, is that correct? I've got the L5 MotoGP edition which has a different yoshi end can and I wonder if it's also with doing.
Definitely worth doing just to make the engine run as it was designed to. It's much smoother now and 127bhp is more than enough. M
I hope it’s going to be ktech as I’ve just spent 2k on suspenders for my track bike and not tried it yet
Ps thought u wouldve done plugs in service lol
Tbh that exhaust lets it down, that style is a bit naff. The rest of the bike look mint though.
That poor lad explaining the tune needed a lemsip big time. Fantastic video 😊
Fuel filter would cause it to not rev properly at hi revs
Hi Michael ~ you have raced and ridden bigger and vastly more powerful bikes, what is it about the 750 that makes it a bike you enjoy more? Henners
How much HP did that full system made?
BSD says a full system gives around 136-138bhp 👍
TPS sensor would be my guess needs adjusting mate I had same issue on a k9 1000
After listening to the vid maybe something else actually
need to clean the carbs lele
Very interesting with BSD.
Interesting. Maybe this is why my TRX850 runs rich as standard from Yamaha
Did anybody said professionalism and craftsmanship...
Not battery
