      I’m going through all these videos and reading along with my 2021 UPC. Some differences in the newer edition but still very relevant. Thanks for posting these.

    Can you explain what it means "above the bottom of the wall furnace"

    Be sure to cap the t&p valve in case the regulator goes out it won't leak!

      The reason for the T and P valve is to relieve the build up of pressure and/or temperature above boiling. If there is no relief the water heater will build up enough pressure inside it and result in a water missile destroying your home- even possibly your family inside. I encourage you to look up the several videos on you-tube about water heater explosions- especially the one in Phoenix, AZ a few years ago. That guy capped off his water heater.
