The first time I sow this video was overwhelming, then I review the IBC book 2021, got familiar with the Chapters and Sections,
Then I watch again this video...Now all make sense it is so well done and illustrative, it required a lot of effort and generosity to prepare and share this knowledge..
Than you very much, you are doing the Lords work..

I shared this video to my fellow architecture graduates and students. The explanations are a lot clearer and more precise and easier to understand because of the animated illustration. Thanks a lot and more power

We're glad you appreciate it Jose. We will create more videos and release them soon! Don't forget to subscribe to get notified. The next video will be about how to create an architecture design business that's so great it can escape the competition and be a monopoly (I'm not pertaining to big company bullies hehe) and we're constantly improving our animation effects, audio, and other factors involved. Cheers!

It’s a good intro for the layperson but the building codes and life safety strategies have a lot more depth than shown. It’s important to note that building codes continuously evolve, and is only intended to require the minimum levels of safety and comfort. The building code is essentially a culmination precedent, experiences and lessons-learned, so that we build better and safer while acknowledging practical constraints.
If you are a professional in California, you really need to crack open the CBC and read it a few times. I’ve read it cover to cover many, many times and I still learn new things from it.

With great liabilities come great knowledge of the laws. Thank you for this valuable content. Simplified and very comprehensible, articulated thru visuals --the archi's native language.

The bottom bar of the graph seems to make confusion. Left side use red color and the right green, which means the smaller the floor area, the more dangerous the building is?

Hi Sir, Kudos great video. Could you please make a video about a Office building like commercial/retail 9000sq.ft lOT SIZE 120'X75' allowed to build on lot line in downtown. Focus area GLA 5700 Net Leasable space 4500 per floor for single tenant with 3 offices in enclosed space remaining open office plan. I want to understand how many occupants max. can be on that floor with no meeting room . then how many EXIT STAIRCASES required per code or if more that 49 people can be in tha office. IF i CAN A QUICK RESPONSE. SINCE MY BOSS WILL KEEP ME IF I CAN GIVE HIM A GOOD DESIGN IN 2 DAYS
