  • Jen from the Sewing Bee searched for a ruler like this for years, and eventually designed and made her own.
Don't forget to check out the three types of ruler on our website👇
    www.barnyarns....
Each of the 4 sides start at zero, which means you can use the ruler whichever way gives you the best view of your work. If you’re measuring outside your pattern, like adding a hem, line up the outside edge of the ruler with the pattern line. Measuring inside the pattern - use the inside edge of the ruler. Both ways cover up the least of your pattern, and the more you can see the easier it is to be accurate. There are also cut-outs to easily add a seam or hem allowance, even to a curved pattern line, and the quilting version has a ¾” notch in one end.
Starts at zero at both the inside and outside corners so you can use it whichever way best lets you see your work.
Cut-outs to make easy work of adding or subtracting a seam or hem allowance - great for hacking patterns!
Quilting version with 1/4 inch cut out for marking seams and checking needle position.
