Kelvin is a class act. Met him at Pondi the other day and he was so chill and chatted with all the locals with no arrogance or any twinge of olympic weirdness at all.
Lowkey forgot Kelvin was on Powell. He is honestly such an amazing skater and at the same time so down to earth yet when you see him in a contest he turns into a competitive monster.

This is the type of skating I’m a part of. Never really been a street type of skater, but I’ve always been trying to get better at that

It feels first person to me, and tho I would never in my best days be standing with the crew you do, it feels exactly the same to me as those days spent skating with the neighborhood back in the day. You always make the best videos! if you really want to heal your neck faster you should do a session of cold recovery. It will legit speed it up heaps! either ice baths or cryo chamber, plus you can film it
I'm still wondering how the 50/50 went from being on top of the coping to being halfway with the back truck on the coping and the front truck pointing towards the platform....?? Is it just the shape of the boards that causes you guys to do that or what's the deal? I have yet to see any pro or am kid stand up on their 50/50s

I went to cayucos school K-8th. In 2012 our art class walked down the hill from the s school and we all got toe paint a panel on the outside of the ramp. Our art was displayed for years on years, but then some other ppl painted over it. It looks a lot better tbh. It was hella funny seeing the different types of “art” from middle schoolers. Mine was shit I remember 😂
I love Andy but going to be honest. Him doing those prolonged balance stalls on the coping during a heated ramp session would do my head in when I'm jonesing to take a run.

I literally cannot stand when Andy just pauses on top of some shit and taps his board a bunch of times like it’s stylish. Like he does great tricks, but then literally ruins it instead of just flowing.
I think he knows that it looks silly. There is irony in his feet while he’s tapping away. Plus doing a bunch of taps on the coping or whatever can make me feel a bit more confident, because kinda doing anything at all and ‘landing’ it gives confidence. For the record I like it because I love stupid shit but I would imagine a lot of people would agree with you.
