    • @formulized94

      This is not a kit that can be ordered. I ordered the brackets and fasteners from one place on eBay, then the calipers and rotors came from another place on eBay. I linked the parts in the description.
      I appreciate you watching!

    • @nandojayy7183

      The link you have for the brackets takes you the the eBay sellers store. It does not direct you to the brackets specifically for a 80s caprice. The only ones shown in their store are for 70s caprice and those seem to have an offset compared to the ones you used. That’s why I was asking if it was a custom order on the brackets.

    I'm planning on going with this conversion since I'm swapping in an 8.5. Did you use front or rear calipers off a camaro?? I tried finding some sort of info but couldn't. As for rotors, are they "stock replacement" rotors for the same gen camaro??

    • @formulized94

      Thank you for watching and commenting!
      The calipers and rotors I used were stock take off parts from the rear of a sixth generation Camaro, 2015 and newer. If you have to buy rotors, buy stock replacement rotors for the Camaro. Be sure to have the center hole opened up to slide of your axle hub.

    • @formulized94

      The rotors are from the 2014 Camaro SS as well. The bolt pattern is the same, but remember you will have to open the center hub hole just a little bit for them to slide onto the axle flange .

    How is the car riding with the original studs? No issues? I put my wheels on and removed them because the studs are deep in there like yours. Any problems? I had a fear of them snapping.

    • @formulized94

      I rode around on them for a couple thousand miles with no issues. I marked them with a sharply pretty heavy, put the wheel on, torqued it and took it back off to check the thread engagement. It had half of the stud engaged.

    • @PrimeG2

      @@formulized94 Ok it sounds like you're good to go. I have the Artis Booya with a 1984 caprice. I put one on the rear and took it off, I may be ok but I just took it off and put my irocs back on. I ordered longer studs to be on the safe side. I do not race or speed, just cruise but I don't want to assume any risk I guess. Nice setup, I am thinking about changing my rear axle as well.

    • @formulized94

      @@PrimeG2 That is the best thing you could have done. Keep some oil on the threads to keep them from trying to rust up. No harder than they are to install, it will be money and time well spent.
