Gosh, depends on their sizing. But I'd say you could take some off. Even at the adult length all cinched up, it's only 36" long(maximum obv much longer)....which crossbody would fit many ten year olds....So, If you took 10" off, then it wouldn't have to be cinched as much. I"m guessing even down to 55" from the total would be enough for a slender 10 year old backpack and sling. This bag can grow with a kiddo, so leaving a little extra is always good. Good luck!
Amazing tips and I loved that I could see all the steps clearly!! ❤

Nice, how long would you cut the strap for a 3 year old? Thank you.
Gosh, I’m not sure. Let me see if I can find info.
From what I’ve read, ppl are saying btw 30-33”. A lot will also depend if the kiddo is taller, shorter etc. good luck
How long is your webbing?
What length of webbing would you recommend for an eight year old..average size?
Would you still use 64" for a child's bag?
Depends on the size of the child and if we’re talking 6or 8 year old or older child. But, probably not.
What kind of teflon foot are you using for your juki?
It is a zipper Teflon foot. I use it all the time.
Great video!
Thank you
Is there a way to make it lay flat at the top?
no, sadly there isn't....not with being able to detach it. Swivel clasps are the best for this method so you can make it as flat as possible.
what length should I use for a 10 yr old?
