Oh gosh! I've been looking for a clip of the Hard Luck Bears for years! I was starting to think I'd imagined them, but no! Here they are! My Gran took me to Blackpool for a week every year through the eighties and we would see the Hard Luck Bears at least once each time - we loved those bears 😊 So many fond memories, thank you for uploading this ❤

Aaron, Blackpool Pleasure Beach recently dug into their photographic archives for a story with the Blackpool gazette here in Britain. Unearthed was a black and white image of Pete and Repete apparently dated September 1980. Was this show definitely installed in 1982 or do they have their dates mixed up? Images of the show have also surfaced over the years with completely unique pleasure beach themed backgrounds which I assume were installed later.
It's more likely I have my information mixed up. I am just going on memory and don't have access to historical records right now. And if i did, I would still probably just go on memory because I don't have time to look stuff up. So, any corrections any of you can offer are very much appreciated.
@@therockafire I think you may have been correct actually about the date of this tape. It seems upon further research that the show was originally installed in 1980 with the showtape and cosmetics that you guys provided, however around 1982 the cosmetics were updated and this audio was recorded for you to programme. Giving each bear a new name and new personality, my guess is that British audiences weren’t taking to the American humour of the original showtape and wanted something more slapstick, I hear a lot of funny accents in this clip. Wow, time flies back, it must be sad to think of how much progress you and your company made Aaron, so sad to see in decline in the 90s and you guys didn't keep going, I bet it's heartbreaking saying goodbye to your 45 Years of Memories within your warehouse. I hope someday you can reunite with your coworkers and friends who helped you out!

I really want to see more of the footage, at least 15-20 minutes of the full video. It's just so frustrating to me, and other fans who may not have a chance at being a part of the premium channel to begin. I'd be okay if I could just pay for it like its just a Netflix subscription and not get caught up in getting personal with Creative Engineering. I think it would be better that way, from my experience with other paid content channels. I've seen fights happen between creators and subscribers on other channels. Or maybe I'm just generalizing here and expect the same thing to happen.
