- This is the show I played for Michael Jackson when he came to visit me in 1984. He thought "those were cute songs" and asked me "who wrote those songs". When I teased him about not knowing that these were Beatle songs, he seemed offended and didn't speak to me again that night. Gosh, I was only ribbing ya' Michael! Not long after that, MJ bought the entire Beatles catalog of songs, and I think hearing and watching this performance had a significant influence on his decision.

can you imagine how many times my mom and dad got tired of me asking for my Showbiz tape? I nearly wore the thing out. I talked about Showbiz all my life.

Seeing these characters so lovingly restored and given a stage so they can sing their hearts out once again, gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling.

They were never restored. They’ve looked this great for 40 years.
I think they've been well looked after, that's all.

They’ve been in perfect condition sence they were built because Arron kept them up, besides changing the masks after they melt I don’t think anything’s been replaced
They're so lifelike. I love how animated they are, they have so many different motions

To think these were first made in the 80s. Imagine when he gets to finish the updated versions of Mitzi and Dook

I have waited 35 years to find this.
At that time, I was stunned, nearly breathless, at what I witnessed. This is a hugely sophisticated operation. Intelligently synchronized to the actual sound. And they didn't "cheat" by changing the song to fit their limitations. This IS Abbey Road. The animators/programmers had to REALLY know the music.
I didn't think that I would live long enough to find this again, this thing I saw one day, ages ago, which shook me at its true magnificence.
That guitar player. He doesn't just mindlessly strum like a clapping monkey. He strokes right on the actual notes.
And the camera work on this video, hitting every showpiece event smoothly.
This is so $%$&^ing amazing, still, to this day. I am beside myself.
By the way - I saw it in ... Chuck E. Cheese. In my sole visit of my lifetime. That's the same thing, right?

Me too! I saw this as a kid in the early 80's. It was one of my favorite shows! The Creative programming is amazing. Aaron explained in another video about programming head movements (not just going to the left and then to the right). There's more to it and it's like partial movements and rocking (knowing how they work, this is a skill!). I always loved Duke's expressions! If you're familiar with the shows and have seen them a lot you can tell when Showbiz switched to doing their own programming, it didn't have quite the same pop.
Aaron, dude, you outdid yourself on this one. This is the stuff I fall to sleep to at night it’s just, everything is gorgeous. I May not have been able to see this in person but god damnit I’m honored to be alive just to know that this exists. Once again kutos to you, the band that recorded this, and everybody who made this happen. This is truly magical. Thank you.

I watched the carpetbagger's video from a while ago where he went to the some building that was advertising that they had the rockafire explosion, but the animatronics were in terrible shape. You could hear the air leaking constantly, and I felt to bad that I couldn't enjoy the show due to their state. But after discovering your channel, it's so lovely to see them so well taken care of! You're truly an amazing person to have built these yourself!
You mean Billy Bob's Wonderland?, Aaron can't go there and restore them cause when Aaron saw the valve's condition the owner got mad and kicked Aaron out of there.
I love The Beatles you did a great job. I like the ones you did in the 80s. I wasn't born in the 80s but my parents went when they were kids they said it was the best place ever when I was born though Chuck e cheese was at the place my parents went to it makes me sad i didn't get to see showbiz but I watch your old videos thank you

This is magic. I might only be a "kid" (I prefer pre-teen but if you knew my age you'd call me a kid) but I love The Beatles just as much as any adult. I was doing research on Rock a fire explosion, and found this :3 this made me happy.
As someone who loved the Beatles as a kid and even now (I'm 19) this made me so ecstatic to see

Wow, i never realized how much cool stuff you have actually done you created the rockafire, built that cool email machine (that I can't remember the name of), made whack a mole, met cool people and you still have whats left of creative engineering and this fan base. Not to mention the countless people your work has made happy.

I cant wait till a rockafire tv show or movie comes out! Because Aaron is still working on awesome stuff and marketing ideas I wouldn't be surprised if he has a plan to get to that point! Either way its exciting just to watch what he's doing right now, I know one things for sure he's gonna restore creative engineering and the company will continue forever!!

All I knew before today was that about 32-odd years ago I took my sole life's peek into Chuck and I've never been the same since seeing the Abbey Road performance then. I'm just now piecing together what is Aaron, Creative, Rock Ex, the Michael encounter, and everything.
From what I can tell Aaron is some kind of something.
It's pretty cool how the Rockafire Explosion can now be operated through digital computer files that function the same way as the old physical showtapes. Amazing how the band has adapted pretty well to modern technology, and those animatronics still hold up very well.
Wow. We used to take our kids to Chuck E Cheese like 25-30 years ago when this program was played. Never thought I'd see it again. Coincidentally, my daughter, who was a youngster when we saw this, is now a designer for one of the top animatronics companies in the USA.

You know when Shobiz was open I loved to go and get some of that good pizza and play some ski ball. When I saw the band then I just never realized the full range of motions with the eyes and everything. I would swear they were alive just watching it all. Truly amazing work. I just wish Showbiz was still around so I could do it all again. Those were the best of times!!! It saddens me to think of what we've lost.

Back again to spill my guts about this. I’ve been having a really tough time with some stuff in my life so let me tell ya, when I say this is the first TH-cam video that’s made me cry I mean it made me CRY. I don’t know if it was your singing Aaron or the looks and movements of all the characters, or the small details like Fatz messing up near the end, but something about this just screams to you the amount of effort and soul you and whoever made this happen put into it. It made my day 100 times better and I can’t stress enough how thankful and greatful i am of you and the rockafire explosion. Amazing, absolutely perfect. One more thing, tell Billy Bob I said hi please?

How jaded I was, my kid comes up to me one day, and says dad I have some awesome music to share with you, it was the rock a fire explosion. He was just amazed at the animatronics. I blame five nights at Freddy’s

October 1982 my parents and cousin went Showbiz and my dad asked if he could record in the store and they agreed. He caught the mid to end of Lousianna and then continued to the Elvis medley. I was 2.

Again another amazing video. I am so much in love with this band. I am hoping to save money so I can get the dolls. Its has been a dream of mine but every time I turn around I have to pay for other bills and poof money gone and no dolls. But at least I can see them on hear and that is just as good ok it way better. I love how well you record them and I still am amazed on how they move and everything. I also love that spider holding the slice of B-day cake. He is adorable and the frog that sits on the surf board is adorable also. Frogs are my thing I have a lot of them tattooed. I am also sad when I see TheRockafire play case I never got a chance when I was a kid to see them. I was born in the 80's and I missed out case well very poor family. So it puts such a pain in my heart that I missed out of getting anything with the band on it. They will have a special place in my heart until the day I pass away and even then when I am in heaven they will still hold a special place. Its hard to explain how I feel about them. Its like they were the big thing then. And to have been able to see them up close must have been awesome. They are still #1 in my book. And I keep wishing for them to make a come back so that way I can just go to Bangor ME and see them. You are all amazing to have come up with them and to make them move and everything it still is amazing to me. And I want to say thank you. Keep up the great work and keep them amazing videos coming. This is neat! A lot better than Munch’s Make Believe Band. For many years, I never knew that Rock Afire Explosion even existed. If I could do it and had the funds in which to do so, I would buy a Chuck E. Cheese franchise, let the contract run out and turn it into new incarnation of Showbiz Pizza. I would love to have one of these shows placed on the stage.

I'm brand spanking new to this party (other than a life-changing experience about 30 years ago, watching the Abbey Road show at Chuck. I STILL get goosebumps). If my perception is correct, that the crowd here is intimately acquainted with Chuck, Showbiz, CEC, etc., then some of you may want to venture over to YT channel "Company Man" who just did a feature on Chuck, and strongly references Brock and Showbiz. BTW it's a very engrossing channel to me (every one of his uploads) and is followed by adoring fanatics, as I suspect one or two of you might be with this channel.
Greatest animatronic show since the carousel of progress( a disney park attraction which has more performances than any other stage show)

Man, this is by far my favorite Rock-afire show. I love it so much.
Funnily enough, it's what made me buy my first ever album (Abbey Road, naturally), and actually get into The Beatles.
Of course, I had always known of them. Who hasn't? I guess it just took something else I already loved to get me to finally check 'em out.
I may not have been around yet to see these guys in their heyday, but I'll still enjoy the show, and they'll always have a special place in my heart. Thank you.
