    Grew up eating moringa leaves and it’s fruit. It is my favorite dish growing up.

    Very interesting. Did not know that. Never heard of leaves from a tree in a salad. What’s your favorite tree on your property?

      It's delicious, even my daughter eats the leaves right off the tree.

      Favorite tree? Great question. For production I would have to choose 3 favorites LOL
      1. Moringa
      2. Desert Gold, Saturn, Red Barron 3 in 1 Peach tree
      3. Pamona Sweet Lemon

      My least favorite tree would definitely be Pineapple Guava. Not even a fruit tree! LOL and it hates the heat! 🔥

      @@AmzBackyardOrchardandVineyard I’ve had my pineapple guava for 3 years now and haven’t got fruit yet. Maybe this is the year.

      @@AmzBackyardOrchardandVineyard my least favorite plant would be the passion fruit. Since I have a small backyard the vines took over everything and got out of control. I even pruned it every week.

    Does red moringa taste different than other types?

      Honestly I haven't tried regular Moringa leaves yet. I'll grab a few branches off my friends tree and I will get back to you ASAP.

    Where did you get your Red Moringa tree or seeds? Do you happen to sell the seeds?

    • @AmzBackyardOrchardandVineyard
      @AmzBackyardOrchardandVineyard  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We bought our seeds about 7 or 8 years ago, I believe it was off eBay or Amazon.

      We are not allowed to sell seeds, we are allowed to sell plants and gift you seeds. Nothing is ready this season just yet.

    Hi
    is that the same as purple moringa ???
    Do you have seeds for sale ???

    • @AmzBackyardOrchardandVineyard
      @AmzBackyardOrchardandVineyard  ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe it's the same thing. Honestly I haven't been able to find much research on the red Moringa but I know it's very rare. We should have seeds by the end of summer, I won't be able to sell the seeds yet until I can confirm they are true seeds from this tree. Meaning if the seeds it produces are red or purple Moringa as well. We are going to experiment that over the next year and confirm that our seats are true or not.

      I need to find out if they are true seeds before I can honestly sell them. We have planted many seeds this fall and are waiting to see the results. It may take another year or so if they start becoming red or if they are green moringa.. time will tell!

      I haven't known a red version of the botanical name for it. There just isn't enough information out there. I will talk to my friend who is a local grower to see if they can help. I will get back to you ASAP! 😎
