Esthetician here. I guess the Caviar ingredient is the big selling feature here because that facial didn't look like anything out of the ordinary. No facial should come close to the price of a facelift.
I'm all about trying everything for beauty, but this didn't seem that special honestly. I've had a Hydrafacial before, which is pricey in and of itself, and I would recommend that any day.
I am not an esthi. I have studied beauty therapy and my mum is a beauty therapist who has done facials for about 20 years? She worked in a salon that did la prarie facials. So I’ve used quite a bit of their products. And I’m going to be brutally honest. I don’t feel that their products are anything more amazing than other products that you can get in salons. There are some Sephora products that are just as good. I don’t feel the caviar did anything huge for my skin. In saying that, from memory la prarie had a huge anti ageing focus and I am only 28 and was younger back then. So possibly if I were seeing signs of ageing I would’ve noticed a bigger difference. Even with getting products for free or wholesale, I don’t feel they’re worth the price. This is just coming from someone who has tried a gazillion skincare brands and used la prarie a lot.
I agree! Good Housekeeping did a video on the same facial and I've watched it more than I care to admit because I find her so relaxing. The video is at the end of the article: www.goodhousekeeping.com/beauty/anti-aging/a39886/la-pairie-caviar-facial/
Everyone's freaking out about how expensive the facial is, and I'm over here wondering how the hell she has a place in NY with rent less than $1000.....
blck 1, she doesn't eat from animals for health reasons I think. She doesn't even call herself vegans because of questions like this. 2, if you were familiar with her work, you'd know the answer to your second question sis.
Hey Fran Hey I haven't seen you in a minute.....I need to get these notifications setup right on my social media outlets. You got me interested in oil pulling way back yonder. 😀
Hmm.. first you say you've "never had a facial", then 1 min later say the extraction part is "always the part that feels like..." How would you know if you've never had one?
I think I'd pay like 50 mayybe 100 bucks for a facial because I feel it's not worth it in the long run as the effects will fade in a few weeks. It was a fun video to watch though, thank you.
Beauty with Mi should be it's own channel. It's just so helpful, because you see the process, price, before and after, so you can decide if it's worth it.
I'm sooo jealous of people whose face don't get all red after a facial. mine always looks so friggin red like someone just slapped me a hundred times or something T.T
A luxurious brand which use the cheapest conservatives: methylparaben, butylparaben, propylparaben, isobutyparaben & ethylparaben. Not good. The effectiveness of caviar has not been proven. Wanna a nice skin? just for under 100, it´s named Retinol. And I guess other kind of dermatological treatment would work better. But it´s ok everyone deserves something luxurious in at least once per life. ;)
I love the cilantro mask from Kiehls! Always makes my skin feel amazing and calms any break outs. Great video, love that you offered affordable alternatives at the end. Looking forward to the next one ☺
My favorite mask is the black clay mask by Shea Moisture. I would get a $1000 facial if I won the lottery just for the experience. I love how you offered affordable alternatives and I definitely will be trying some of them. I was referred to this video after listening to the Friend Zone Podcast featuring Hey Fran Hey.
I've only had one professional facial and that was at the Red Door Spa. My skin was so baby soft and glowing! I'm definitely getting another facial soon. Hey Fran 👋🏾
Lol my mom uses la prairie products all the time. There was this one facial thing that came with like little pieces of caviar and you kind of had to activate it to make it cream. I remember when I was small, I would literally taste the cream/lotion to see if it tasted like caviar (which it didn't if you wanted to know).
ohhh, this sounds like so much fun! the price is insane but hey if i had that kind of money to spoil myself, you betcha id do it. Also as for my favorite skin care line id have to say Aveda is my top choice!
Mi-Anne you are living the life! Will be in NY in April if you're free we must grab a coffee. What facial would you recommend whilst I am there? Would like to try something different as normally go to Red Door or Mario Badescu.
I would rather get well formulated luxurious skin care product from Paula’s Choice in order to see a long term results. Tbh what I really love about facial treatment is that they did the extraction part very professionally to get all the dirts out.
Do you know about Monatomic Gold , its a rejuvenation method doing all kinds of stuff , only problem being that its even more expensive then gold , but if you can afford it do it , those that cant can use natural sources of rejuvenation , if you want to know how that is done i can tell you
My mom is getting this. Se said maybe I can come with her next time 😊😀 Comment what places you get urs done cause my sister is too young for this one. Thanks!!
i feel like when brands use caviar, it’s just because u know the price tag of the food caviar and somehow it will work wonders for your face? next up- cobe steak facial
watching people get facials is so relaxing
yesss it so is... You should watch Asmr
Alessandra Santamaría yes it is. I love the cooling globes
yesss it feels like my body just stops. sort of meditative haha.
Alessandra Santamaría Yes! It feels like you're getting a facial yourself while watching.. like asmr but visual (vsmr) 😁
Alessandra Santamaría I thought I was the only one

@Roy Chefets calm down, she didnt say anything, barely commented on the price. 1000$ is insane for what she did
I'm all about trying everything for beauty, but this didn't seem that special honestly. I've had a Hydrafacial before, which is pricey in and of itself, and I would recommend that any day.
Isn't caviar essence just basically "a&d ointment" also known as "fish oil"

Thanks for telling me! I've never had a facial so I'd probably get scammed
The lady with the shaved head had the most relaxing voice on this earth
Ms Arynn boi tf wrong with u

Samantha Behling I’m just seeing this but I love that article and I’d like to thank you for sharing it with me
@@emilyl1874 Ms Emily what the fuck is wrong with YOU?Like YO she just gave her a compilent...Chill
Everyone's freaking out about how expensive the facial is, and I'm over here wondering how the hell she has a place in NY with rent less than $1000.....
same.....
The full rent amount is probably not $1000. $1000 must be her portion of the rent alongside roommates.
This was so much fun!
blck 1, she doesn't eat from animals for health reasons I think. She doesn't even call herself vegans because of questions like this. 2, if you were familiar with her work, you'd know the answer to your second question sis.

sarah bee you can extract without a facial. My own extractions are painful......and more than likely because I don't know how to extract properly.
At 1:28 u said “is always the part..” that means you have had them before? I’m not trying to hate just confused
I LOVE extractions. My facialist goes in on my nose every month and I'm so thankful. Getting facials is the best thing ever.
Charley Exantus I don't think thats healthy, it's natural for skin to have some lil blackheads etc
And my broke ass tought paying 17€ for facial was a lot
That looked amazing!
3 years no reply?
the bald lady looked like a futuristic person irl o.O

Thanks for the watch, Yasemin BAHAR!
girl hell nah $1000? maybe $150 for that lol anyways, I'm here to see fran! hey girl lol
she was rocking the bald look!
I love your skincare and facial reviews! Personally, I find this to be Refinery29's best video serie! Lots of love from Norway! 🇳🇴
Beauty with Mi should be it's own channel. It's just so helpful, because you see the process, price, before and after, so you can decide if it's worth it.
What a rip off! For $700 I could get Fraxel laser and actually make a difference in my skin lol.
I love that you gave affordable options. More videos like this pls!!!
I'm sooo jealous of people whose face don't get all red after a facial. mine always looks so friggin red like someone just slapped me a hundred times or something T.T
daneelee why is your skin so sensible? What are you using in your home care every day. That means your skin is not in balance.
My favourite face mask gives me baby soft skin but I look like I've been slapped for a few minutes after.
Those cooling liquid balls must feel AMAZING on a sunburn
Also for a headache
I use ice to cure sunburn and migraines. Especially helpful when I go on holiday to the beach.

I have a £1 tube of sea weed face mask and a £5 tube of charcoal cleanser. My skin actually looks different.

Facial videos are so satisfying and relaxing
I was so excited about the snow ❄🌨⛄⛇☃
Great video. The Friend Zone sent me. Do your thing, Fran! 🌅
I've only had one professional facial and that was at the Red Door Spa. My skin was so baby soft and glowing! I'm definitely getting another facial soon. Hey Fran 👋🏾
My dog is using my leg as pillow.....
It’s so cute
I love this comment 😂
you ladies were GLOWING days after... got me planning how to use next year's tax refund

Skin goals!!
Here I am watching this Aug 2019 but remember Fran talking about this on the podcast. Cool to see what she was talking about.
I love watching these facial videos! Have you done the gold facial?
Thanks for replying! Love your work!
I like seeing what options are out there. But $1000.00 Wow!!
Now this is called oddly satisfying
ohhh, this sounds like so much fun! the price is insane but hey if i had that kind of money to spoil myself, you betcha id do it. Also as for my favorite skin care line id have to say Aveda is my top choice!
Out of curiosity, what were the blue things the therapist used on your face?
They are called ice globes.
Mi-Anne you are living the life! Will be in NY in April if you're free we must grab a coffee. What facial would you recommend whilst I am there? Would like to try something different as normally go to Red Door or Mario Badescu.
Frannnn💚
Great vid! Thanks for sharing.
I love your videos!! Usually on my other account now trying to use this one so I have a reason to watch everyone all over 🤣
Lol... Now everyone take out your frozen Meth pipes.... And rub them on your face 🤔😒😅🤣
I have had the same issues as both women at ten years old, I needed facials but didn’t realize that I needed a $1,000 facial!
Love your personality 💜
Ahh so cute Mi-Anne!!!
Oki think it’s safe to say that Mi is going to age very, very well 😂
Mi: “getting a facial”
Me: ew she has a nose piercing
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
YOUR RENT IS LESS THAN $1000 A MONTH?!?! My rent is $3000 a month for a tiny apartment
桃ちゃん Where do you live that is $3000 a month?! In Texas, some are around $700
Boop Loop The person in the video lives and works in NYC. It's safe to assume OP lives there too.

Thank you!
i have tryed the gel before and it was amazing
i like extractions when they're not disgustingly covered in pimples & blackheads, but when they have a few small ones i don't mind
very relaxing. luxury products. but the facial price tag is better spent buying the line.
Wish you did a before and after photo of your face and then a comparison
Gonna wash my face deeply right now
It just didn’t seem like they did enough to justify the price tag
I am a skincare addict and would love to work with you on a project sometime.
beautiful nail paint

who is watching this in 2020, found this way in the start of my watch later section from 2018, cant believe I haven't cleared it out yet.
how does this only have 1700 views but is on trending?
looks like a fun experience, i wouldn't spend the money for it because there are so many other affordable options.
I need this!
Aztec Clay and Acv will do! I wouldn't pay $1000 lmao
Her skin must feel soft after all of these facials
Hey Fran!!!
Hey beauty!!!
Hey Fran!

i feel like when brands use caviar, it’s just because u know the price tag of the food caviar and somehow it will work wonders for your face? next up- cobe steak facial
I have been watching that honey potion every time I visit @Sephora5
Not for $1k...maybe $200. Id rather a fruit enzyme facial in lieu of caviar
YES I could
These products cost literally R12 000 here in South Africa 🙂
What is the blue ball they doing for facial ?
Can you try a microcurrent facial next time?
Im obsessed with watching massagas. Why??
Go to 'Gold Element' next!

My dad used to work at Ritz Carlton or for.
I have paid $100 & almost cried over that! Oh and abt $250 in product :-( too much
I’m a skincare addict I wanna come 😭😂😂 ugh lmfao
I got this today..
If only HAD the money. 👏🏼
whats the blue orb things called
To be entirely honest the facial was very short and for 1000 pounds I think it was a bit of a rip off
Your rent in NYC is under 1k? Where? 🤔
I actually imagined the caviar on the face lool
How is this in top 50 trending videos on youtube with 1.7k views
her skin must be so soft after 2913856 facials
it is actually 750 dollars
I'm did it , it was worth it tbh , but if it's a couple of hundred it would be better
The woman giving you your facial looks like the woman ( B - word) from Project Runaway... one of the twins.
Do more facials
Isn’t the hotel mentioned like $1000 a night???
very jealous looks like alot of fun even if it didn't work.
Hey Siri spas near me
Oh shit it was the comment section 😂
How is she a skin car addict and never had a facial..? Lol cool
She makes and uses her own products most of the time, which works for her skin.
I've never had a pro facial, because I'm 10. I am a skincare addict though.
@@Moo-2310 It's nice to see someone so young takes a good care of their skin.
How much is her rent in NYC??????
if i was rich af i would definitely do this
This is totally a gimmick for rich people. In my years of cosmetology, I’ve learned to sniff out the pretender services. Lol
I might
Do the employees do the facial on themselves secretly
