Iceland 2023 - The Blahnúkúr Brennisteinsalda Loop Hike In Landmannalauger (4K)

The Blahnúkúr Brennisteinsalda Loop Hike in Landmannalauger has been called the best hike in Iceland, certainly the best day hike in Landmannalauger. It was the highlight of our stay there, even if it was a little more difficult than we expected. (Plus, we were carrying a lot of camera equipment) But we were glad we did it and enjoyed a tasty sandwich back at the Mountain Mall grill afterwards.

inspiring, planning to do this loop this year. question, are there any drone permit require in that location?

Thanks! I know you will enjoy this beautiful hike. Drones are not allowed in the campground, but I found nothing about restrictions outside of that. You do have to mark your drone with name, address and phone number and register it with the ITA (it was a simple process).
