I took a 3D animation college level course and all they did was throw around the terms FK and IK and when we asked what that was the instructor just pointed to where it was on the screen LOL

Inverse Kinematics is really good for making games that have controls that use the mouse (or controller) to move, such as Gorilla Tag
I've only heard of Inverse Kinesthetics but I never heard of Forward Kinesthetics, thank you for this little informative short

This was really well explained. Tbh as an animator I never knew what the difference other than that fact that they worked differently, with IK and FK controls on the rig. But now they make so much more sense. And will probably help me a ton. Thanks!
