The dual gates is a nice way to encourage co op play, but the movement challenges can only be done in single player.

For every single swapper, the default swap combination is almost always below average and to get the most out of your characters, you actually SHOULD swap them. All of the best combinations are not the default ones. That's what makes playing around with different combinations more fun. Also, the game does encourage swapping because you can earn stars for it!

I don't swap very often, but when I do, it saves my hide and HP. Honestly the only reason I don’t tend to swap is because I really like the characters themselves as themselves.

I actually use the swap gimmick primarily. I think combining tops and bottoms can create really cool interactions. For example, stink rise can use the shuriken shield with the Lazer to increase dps while avoiding damage. Trap blade can juggle enemies by switching between the kick and shadow dash attack. Blast shake is also cool since you can shoot the skulls through the fire wall to ignite them. There are so many cool ways they interact and I have a hard time going back to unswapped.

I played swap force a few years ago and fell in love with freeze shift. It takes freeze blades play style and enhances it to a point where he is basically untouchable. Once I complete my giants nuzloke I'm doing swap for e next with Skylanders randomly chosen my my lizard (hoot loop, doom stone, freeze blade, blast zone, spy rise, grim creeper, scratch, and grilla drilla)so it'll be fun to really hone in on those specific swappers.

I feel like the reason they didn’t push swapping in the game is because the 250 swaps. You see they might have thought that kids would think that sense you get 250 swaps you get more figures so they did not feel like pushing the gimmick

Mercari is easily one of the worst ways to buy Skylanders now sadly, they’ve recently changed how they work and there’s gonna be a ton of fees at the end so a $10 Skylander will probably turn into a $20-25 one

Can we get another Skylanders game with battle mode?

Yeah, you don't need to do it. But it comes in handy for certain things.
You can create unique battle strategies like MAGNA RANGER, a crazy machine gun on top of a useful melee coverage tornado.
Or you can use the top swapper's loaded stash of cash to upgrade a bottom part more easily.

What I don't like in Skylanders, is that there should be more details, like in SSA you could swim as water Skylanders and walk on lava with fire Skylanders, and what I would love, is if in swap force you could access teleport swap zones with sun burn who can teleport, or sneak ones as stealth elf etc.

Trap rouser is good. he can summon the minions, throw a trap, and camp underground why the enemies die! (Also shift with 3 lives is always a safe bet)

The only Forces I ever Swapped were Boom Jet and Blast Zone, since they kinda play similarly.

I somewhat agree, I usually just use the base forms but when I want to swap I always like using blast zone with spy rise bottom and Magna charge with night shift bottom. But other than those two I haven’t found any that feel great for me

Haven’t finished the video yet so I don’t know if you bring this up but certain skylander seem like they are made to be swapped for example, Magna charge has 2 moves that do basically the exact same thing.

You don't need to Swap, but you'd be missing out on a lot of the fun. Why even buy any other Skylanders than what's in the Starter Pack ? Because it's fun to play with the different move sets and see which ones are the most fun.

I feel like the only person that has always used the swapping, the main purpose for me has always been the changing of the moveset as I don't agree at all that the non-swapped Skylanders are the best

do not underestimate the Imaginators
I have one, that is really over powered
off course it is also thanks to all the senseis and their training, but still
that 1 Imaginator, is stronger than most senseis

I normally have two of my swap-force Skylanders swapped and they are Fire Kraken with Jade Fire Kraken and Hoot Loop with Free Ranger
Okay one is just a variant swap but hey! It's a no brainer
As for Free Loop and Hoot ranger... they are both birds
But meh, I am boring

Idk the swaping never really clicked with me. I always tried to play as the coolest looking skylander and to me it just made most figures less cool. I think magna zone is the only swap where it looks cooler than the base figure
