I really appreciate the straightforward explanation. Unlike so many other reviewers, you're not trying to be entertainment. There are many people like me who want information, pure and simple. Thank you.
Hi - Thanks so much for presenting this tutorial, it’s really helpful --you are a great teacher. I am a beginner filmmaker - my preferred camera is Sony. For the past year, I have been shooting with the Sony PXW Z90. It’s a great camera, but because it a fixed lens it does not allow very much dept of field. I took the leap and recently purchased the Sony FS5 Mark ll which allows me the freedom to use an interchangeable lens. I understand that the Sony FS is similar to the FS5 ll but there are a few additional add-ons to the Sony FS5 ll. Could you please be kind enough to do a full editorial on how to use the Sony FS5 ll properly? I have spent days searching but have been unsuccessful finding and editorial that offers what I’m sure so many of us need. There are reviews but no “real editorial” from, beginning to end. I called Sony, only to be told (1) it a professional camera, I have to be placed on the call back list - just to speak with a support agent, which is not helpful because there’s so much to be learned. I’m sure it may be asking a lot - but I have run out of options. The world of beginners like me would love you so much!! Take care, stay safe!!
That was a very good intro to using the camera. Its now 2024 about 3 years after the video is made....and I like many others are looking at which older cine camera to buy. The high end older fx9 or the fx6 which many prefer..and the fx3 was good enough to shoot a hollywood movie. The fs7 annd fs5 are good options as they would be much less money. Then there are the Canon C300 and their older or newer mark 2 and 3. etc etc. old RED cameras and others....
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for showing how to reset to default setting. As a student using the camera after other students I NEEDED to know this and couldn't find it anywhere. Whew

Wonderful video. Easy to digest as a viewer. I really appreciated the in-depth explanation of all of the toggles and buttons on the camera body.
Excellent video, just starting to look at one of these video cameras.
THIS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
great job! exactly what I needed to know to use my camera.
Thanks dude! This guide should be at the top of every FS5 box! Great job!
I'm a pretty competent videographer, but I still needed this info for my new FS5 M2. Especially with setting white balance. Thank you!
this was a great primer to get the confidence needed to help you get your hands on this device and get shootin. this was a huge help! thanks!!
Excellent. Very clear.

For a communication school, these guys sure don’t know to edit voice over and dialogue well
I guess they're more focused (pun intended) on basic instructions.
