Happy Monday! OK, I'm 17 seconds into the video and I'm absolutely enchanted with the box. The "blep" of the middle kitten on the left, the little can of fishy catfood, the "who, me?" expression of the cat with the ball of yarn that you just know he stole from the knitting project bag. And the box-turned-into-a-cat logo is both cute and clever. Anyway. Off to watch the rest of the video now.
This looks like a really good box. I like that everything in it is for the cats; the t-shirt & water bottles that you get with Cat Lady are nice, however if I'm getting a "fun for your pets" box I'd expect everything to be for the pets. It looks to be good value, too, with the multiple toys, bag of treats, bag of catnip, plus all the costs that go into putting the box together. Having a choice between monthly or bi-monthly is a plus, since people with lots of cats might want more toys/treats than someone who only has one or two kitties. This first box is definitely a winner! Now to see if the Furry Overlords agree, LOL.
And two Sewers Club videos pending! I am excited for those for sure. I don't get another Stash Builder until next month (and they always come near the end of the month) so it's good that I can live vicariously through you & Dandelion Stitches during the "dry" months.

It is a really cute box. I didn't even notice it when I was filming. It is a pretty good box so far, I too like that it is solely for cats. I like Cat Lady because I get to have cat themed stuff for me, but I'm happy with my little break so far. I'm excited to see what September brings. So far everyone has liked something in the box, I was so surprised Miles (my 19lb garbage disposal) turned his nose up at the treats.
Now to edit my SC videos. I think Stash builder is going to go up next.

I have an eighteen year old male cat, named Polymita for a Cuban Tree Snail, who is very healthy, and is respectful of my snakes. Interested in this for him. I have subscribed. Enjoyed the names of your cats. Polymita loves catnip and goes wild. I was a trapper, volunteer for a cat shelter, and Ferret Shelter in Connecticut where I live. All of my cats have been rescued by me. They only get Catnip as a Treat. Most of my cats live into their twenties. So happy to have found your channel. Vet care, including dental means better health for elderly cats. Of course good quality food, kindness, respect and love makes a cat enjoy their home.

I live in CT too! I believe in good food and vet care. We take Susie, a foster failure, twice a year and do almost everything the vet recommends like giving her the most expensive prescription food because she vomits everything else up. The rest in the house are all foster cats waiting for their forever home. I usually take in one or two cats that need a calm and relaxing environment where they can recover from whatever trauma they experienced. When they are mentally better the rescue I work with usually quickly finds them homes. Right now, though, I stepped up to take in 5 out of 15 cats who were dumped at a feral cat colony in January in Waterbury. One needed time to trust us and the others had various ailments that needed treating. Now 7 months later, they're all as healthy as they can be and the last one has been seeking my husband out for pets. I also have Junior, a kitten who literally walked into my house and immediately need a $4000 surgery but that was a week after I posted this video. So long story short, I thought I might be a good source to see if the various cat subscription boxes are any good. So far so good!
I love your cats name too! I think unique names are wonderful. I tend to be pretty basic. I named my first cat as an adult Bella, not for Twilight, which was stupid popular at the time, but for Beauty and the Beast and because I was taking an intro latin course and thought Bella meaning pretty, beautiful, wonderful was an amazing name. Now it's considered the most basic name ever.
