Hey Zara, it was so much fun to make this video together and to compare our lives in hospital! Looking forward to part 2 of the collab on my channel 👌🏾🙌🏾
As an 4th year medical student on clincals at the moment, you really come to understand how important nurses are at our hospitals. Glad to see nurses finally getting the spotlight they deserve. Good Luck Guys!
Universal truth, gals get up brush their teeth, apply makeup and have almost no breakfast, the most imp meal of the day. Boys, brush their teeth, shower, breakfast.
I think I’m most impressed by the fact that you found time to go to fracture clinic during your on-call shift. 😂 That’s really good and proactive. Great video overall! I liked seeing the job role differences. -CT2 in Ortho
Maybe i have to start thinking of moving to other wards. My routine is not like this here in southern part of england. I always have 12 patients, i only sit down for 30min in my 12 hours shift. Sometimes i eat dinner quick so i can do charts or eat while ticking some turning charts. Go home 15-30mins later than expected to really make sure i did not miss anything with my 12 patients. I go home tired and my leg veins are dying. I know time management is the key but in MOP whether youre quick or slow you can never ask elderlies to swallow medication quickly or not to buzz when going out of bed. Youll end up with aspiration or fall if you do that. Which means lots of work to do. THINKING!
Hello Ana, having 12 patients to one nurse does not sound like safe practice and something you definitely need to raise to your line manager if this is a regular occurrence :( I have been in situations where I have had to manage 10 patients due to understaffing, however these were one off occasions and management always tried to pull agency nurses last minute to make up numbers. It also sounds like this is having a physical impact on your body, which is not a good thing long term. Please take rest and raise your concern to your management regarding the nurse to patient ratio 💝xx
Hi guys, im so proud of nurses and doctor, realy you're guys working hard in this pandemic. me too staff nurse at Ministry Of Health state of Kuwait in Public Departement. So please take care everyone and stay safe and health.
Could you maybe do a video like this with a hospital pharmacist or other HCPs ?? i]Its really interesting to see different roles of everyone especially as an Mpharm student
Just a tip if a patient is dehydrated and you need to do a blood test. I would recommend using a broken needle or as we call them now a tap these are much easier and the blood flows through them much easier too
This was suchhhh an amazing collaboration!! Loved this video and how it was put together! Also glad to see the electric toothbrush make an appearance! :)

Hey zara...i want to know that either i will be eligible for job in London after my 3year General n 1 year midwifery nursing...i have completed my diploma and i have 5 year of experience..
Hey zara what do you Think About bsn nursing In Pakistan its GOOD or not??? some people thought that Nursing Profession is not good profession is it true or not? In your opinion can i join nursing profession in Pakistan or 🚫 not
Hi really loved your video it’s really great I’ve got a question is adult nursing in the uk and bsn in America the same because I’m in college right now and will go university next year
@@moviefan1646 Hi I’ll answer. A bsn in America is more generalised education which means after your degree you can go into any speciality. In the Uk and Ireland it’s more specialised so if you study adult nursing you can’t just switch to paediatrics, or midwifery (I know for you guys this may be labour and delivery, mother baby nursing or postpartum nursing that isn’t a thing in the UK). If you do adult nursing you can go to ICU you just can’t switch into a different population group.

Hellooo, ahh so happy to hear you enjoy my videos!! Nice to meet you :)!! Yes you should be taught a skill before carrying it out and as a student you must always be under supervision by a qualified professional when doing so!
