Kejriwal committed harakiri by ignoring ED summons nine times. Whatever he may say now in his defense will be viewed against his reluctance to respond to summons. Ten, twelve years ago , when he was running every one down for corruption he himself said money trail evidence is not necessary to proceed with his case. Now for him to plead innocence on that basis , robs him of whatever little credibility is now left in him. He has to explain to the Delhi voters why he let Sisodia and others to accept ED summons when he himself spurned it as illegal. Crux of the issue is he and his wife do not want to leave the lovingly furnished bungalow ; so he would like to prolong his tenure failing which , his wife will take over. That is AAP for you.

Why such comments on evidentiary value of statements while giving reasons on a bail application?
If someone interested in Law can go through these judgements and though these related to other countries, but still relevant and can check if trial court can accept. (Source: Various websites). Reason is the evidence was in tape recordings, voice recordings, video, messages and bank transfer tracing in most of these cases.
1) In case of USA congressman William J. Jefferson in 2009 for bribery where he was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
2) Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was convicted in 2011 on corruption charges. Blagojevich was sentenced to 14 years in prison.
3) In Brazil, former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was convicted of corruption and money laundering in connection with the scandal in 2017.
4) In South Korea, former President Park Geun-hye was sentenced to 25 years in prison for corruption.

Just as like a Legal practitioner has to discharge his job in court room, a Minister has to perfotm his job from the house of legislature and the Secretariat but not from Jail at the least. 😊

Excise: ₹ 223.88
VAT: ₹ 106.00
Retailer Commission: ₹ 33.39
Maximum selling price: ₹ 530.00
Kejriwal ji's plan in March 2022:
Wholesale price: ₹ 188.41
Excise: ₹ 1.88
VAT 1%: ₹ 1.90
Retailer Commission: ₹ 363.27
Additional Excise: ₹ 4.54
Maximum selling price: ₹ 560.00
The excise and VAT which should be going to the govt. exchequer, is rather going to the retailers. The retailers were getting ₹ 363.27 instead of ₹ 33.39 commission on each such bottle. It is clear that this would not have been planned by Kejriwal and his thugs to create an 'excellent business environment'. How much commission did the Aam Aadmi Party receive from retailer commission? This is a scam!
