  • Unfortunately, a complete oversight led me to exclude The Mary Tyler Moore Show, of all shows, from this video. Take note that it was part of the fall 1970 lineup.

It would make a nice limited run series on Netflix, just long enough for the protagonist to find his lost brother.

The opening credits of The Partridge Family are from the 2nd season, not the first. The theme song's title were different- it was "When We're Singing"in the first season, not "C'mon Get Happy," and Brian Forster had not yet replaced Jeremy Gelbwaks in the cast.

    Notes...
Inger Stevens was cast as the female lead in THE MOST DEADLY GAME before her tragic passing
While Christopher George was THE IMMORTAL, wife Lynda Day was one of THE SILENT FORCE
When FOUR-IN-ONE went to series, Lloyd Bridges replaced Pernell Roberts as its star of SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL
THE INTERNS was the first series from Screen Gems/Columbia to air on CBS since the final season of HAZEL in 1965-66
THE YOUNG LAWYERS was set in Boston because Massachusetts permits law school students to try cases in court,
under the supervision of a licensed attorney
THE YOUNG REBELS was originally titled YANKEE DOODLE, until it was felt it sounded like Establishment patriotism,
thus turning away the desired audience
That is not the 1970 opening of THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY, with a version of the theme that explained the premise, and
    a different Chris
Paramount took BAREFOOT IN THE PARK and packaged them as episodes of LOVE. AMERICAN STYLE for syndication
There are rumors NANCY was cancelled because of pressure from the Nixon White House...I personally discount that,
but go with the simplest reason--losing too much audience from Top 5 lead ins FLIP WILSON and IRONSIDE,
in turn depressing DEAN MARTIN'S numbers
In the previous season and a half, Tim Conway had flopped for CBS with a sitcom (THE QUEEN AND I) and a 30-minute
variety show (the HALF A COMEDY HOUR)...so they give him a full hour
THE STOREFRONT LAWYERS were three newly minted attorneys who insisted their law firm give them time to work at a
neighborhood legal aid organization...as described in the CBS fall preview show: "In Century City to pay the bills--in the
ghetto to pay their dues" Mid season the format was changed to keep them in Century City, and the title to MEN AT LAW
There was no footage of HEADMASTER for that same preview show...it just was Andy Griffith, explaining that he would
be playing the man in charge of a private school. Mid-year that was scrapped entirely, and THE NEW ANDY
GRIFFITH SHOW was offered, where he played a small town mayor. Not only did that not work, they ended up
finishing the season with reruns of HEADMASTER.
Finally...how did you forget MARY TYLER MOORE?!?

I'm not sure if you've seen them yet since you uploaded this video, but thankfully now here on TH-cam, you can now see a promo for "Headmaster", and also "The Storefront Lawyers" if you can believe it! Cool stuff right?👌 All you need to do is type the title in the searchbar along with 1970, and they'll be the first videos that pop up! Maybe sometime in the future you can update this and edit them in! Thanks again for this, and I'll now be binge watching these previews year by year now, and it's all thanks to you! Take Care! The vast majority of the intros you see on my videos were downloaded or screen capped in the intro form they originally appeared which were posted by others on TH-cam and on some odd other sites like Daily Motion. The rest were extracted from partial or full episodes of series, again from TH-cam, etc.. Through my searches I've downloaded a very limited number of complete episodes of odds and ends series, certainly fewer than 100 I'd say, and none as entire series. So what collection I have, if it can be called that, is miniscule compared to a genuine robust library's worth. What specifically are you looking for? The likelihood of my having any of what you seek is probably next to zero, but if I don't have it, I might be able to point to where you could find it.
